Nice trail. Great to walk, run or bike!
Some of the best people watching in the city! I love running and walking here. Great place to stroll with a friend and chat.
Awesome place to hike or run
Run it in the early morning when it's cooler
Best place to run in the city
This is where I take long depression walks. Just kidding but no I'm serious. I notice there's often this one Indian guy (presumably Indian) wearing a head wrap sitting on a bench.
Love to jog on the trails. My weekend treat! 😎
Running, scenic views
One of my favorite exercise trails....just gorgeous!
It's such a great place to go for a run. The view is beautiful and there's a lot of people running with their dogs so bring yours! 😁
Best hike and bike trail with beautiful views and don't forget a piece of bread for the ducks!
Great place to walk and watch the rowing teams.
The kayaking on this lake is easy going and fun.
I love the new boardwalk. I can't wait for ACL! We will have a straight ride there!
Great trail to run. Earlier is better.
Best time to visit is early in the morning when it's not too hot out. Sun up is ideal. Have fun!
If you like running, this is the place to go in ATX. It's close to downtown, easily accessible, & the skyline views are priceless. Visit the water-side trail for a taste of the outdoors in a big city.
Park under the bridge at Stratford and mopac. Watch out for pot holes though.
Best running spot ever!
Run as hard as you can but take a second to enjoy a walk across the pedestrian bridge. It. Is. Zen.
I run in the mornings around 7:30 am, if you go before, it is still pretty dark.
Better be fueling up right after that run, friend. Spot the KIND jeep around town during SXSW for an all-natural, non-GMO KIND bar!
A perfect running trail for all levels of runners. This 10 mile loop is mostly flat with scenic views of downtown Austin and Lady Bird Lake.
If your dog takes a shit on the trail, please pick it up.
Don't Instagram while running. Your pictures come out blurry.
Any day of the week this is a great place for a bike ride, jog, or stroll to clear your mind. Enjoy!
If you're visiting Austin & like to take long walks with a gorgeous view..I recommend this trail.
This is one bad ass park
Control your dogs!! I love our four legged friends, but I have seen 3 people flat out face plant in 3 weeks due to other people's dogs. People and dogs are getting hurt!
Here's a tip: You're not the only one on the trail. Please stay to the right.
The trail is open during ACL!
Dear Girl w/ way too much makeup on, leave that stuff at home.
Get out of the bikers' and runners' way if you're just going on a stroll. Austin has a lot of fit people. If you're too slow, you'll incur their Texan wrath.
Our favorite place to run in Austin. Its a place that puts the soul at rest.
The most beautiful run of your life! The scenery is gorgeous, the running trail is long, and you can bring your dog! There's parking all over the place too, so convenient!
Park on the north side of the lake near the Lamar street bridge, next to the new footbridge. The loops are really easy to understand, and make sure to hydrate.
Great workout for the outdoorsy spirit within all of us. Make sure you know what you're getting yourself into. You don't want to end up running 10 miles instead of the 3 you planned on!
Water coolers provided courtesy of Run-Tex. Summer time great social scene full of runners, dogs, and lake goers.
In the summer, you will want to run as early as possible to avoid the heat. The evenings do not cool off much before it gets dark.
Trails are made for spandex. Wear some!
Hula hooping near mopac bridge!
Try the American Built Clothing 5 bridge 5k challenge. Start under the I35 bridge and head west till the Lamar bridge and double back.
Stay on the right side. Cyclists can use the lance Armstrong trail for a little... Less congestion.
