People tend to check in during these times:
Nice day at the Balboa Park!
This is the best place for your daily run. You'll get your cardio in, plus your fill of tranquility too.
I love checking daily on the ducks, geese, swans, cormorants, egrets, herons, and wigeons. Could do without all the coots, pigeons & gulls. And too many people feed the birds - Stop it!!!
Weird people everywhere ! Watch out for the snakes 🐍🐍🐍🐍
Why are people so weird ?
Beautiful park! Separate bike & foot paths, picnic tables, playground. Lake w/waterfall attracts waterfowl. Picnic tables & BBQs. Leashed dogs welcomed (bring poop bags). Tons of park'g.
Sakura "cherry blossom" also known as "friendship" I love this place.
nice day to relax
hope is to improve that sometimes human error ..
Beautiful, especially early morning, or late afternoon.
Doesn't have a lot of flowers, but lovely alien birds :D
If you love to run this is the park to do it in! Lot's of running paths!

Nice walking space
Awesome place for fishing!
Beautiful Lake Park with picnic tables around the perimeter of lake. Plenty of open space for catching ball, playing soccer, or a friendly game of football. Don't forget to stop by the bike rentals.
Parking is FULL!
Great park to run and walk. The lake itself 1.3 miles around and leads you off to other trails around the park. It's a massive park! In beginning of spring, the cherry blossoms bloom. Great for picnic
Best park in the Valley
No more paddle boats :(
This is a great place to bring out your loose change and splurge at the ice cream truck!
lots of running room. beautiful views.
Best shade in the valley for pure and utter laziness.
Infiltrated with snobby people, like oh my god it's the Valley! Haha

Walk every day 3 miles exact from the entrance on Woodley to the one on Balboa round trip!
It's 1.5 miles around the lake.
This place gets crowded on weekends. If you are awning a BBQ get here early!
Really cool playground for the kids
Beautiful view from the top of the hill on the north side of lake. Bring some sunscreen and bug repellent and you'll be set!
Parking is usually scarce in the park next to the lake, I park using the entrance off Woodly closest to Victory in the lot next to the golf course.
Watch out for skunks at night.
Great place to clear your mind and workout...though watch out for those crazy geese...feisty little guys!
How is piterka mayor??
In the mood for a picnic? Escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a quiet, lakeside day. Bring board games for some added fun!
Lake Balboa is a great place to spend the day w/ the entire family - http://ht.ly/5CuJ9
Careful riding a bike if the sprinklers are on...the park uses re-claimed water!
Great biking/pinic resting spot. Though its not a 'lake'. Its a pond
I like to cycle the outer circuit. It's just shy of five miles around. Beware of little kids on bikes, little kids not on bikes, inattentive teens walking five abreast, 4-seater quadcycles and unleash
Fishing-wise. Just blueGill and talapia. No more trout or bass
Paddle boat rentals are gone. =(
nice park, great for biking, running, walking, and picnicking.
Great place for a picnic!
Great place to run, I start from Victory and Hayvenhurst and run around the pond and lake and to the official park at Balboa Blvd. and Burbank Blvd.
Needs to be re-surfaced for real football (soccer)
