The best dumplings i have eaten and i am not exaggerating. A very modest small restaurant hidden on east broadway. Excellent value for money. A plate of 10 juicy fried dumplings for only 3$

Here, the fried Fujianese-style dumplings are triangular and packed with pork & chive. They are packed tight into an enormous pan, allowing oil to escape and the top to stay tender and pliant. Read more

For just $5, you get a giant bowl filled with beef broth, noodles, bok choi and a choice of meats, topped with a fried egg. $3 warrants you a plate of 12 dumplings. Run there. Run there now. Read more

Try the oxtail(pic) or beef noodle soup. Make sure to get an order of fried dumplings too. Top your soup off with chili oil and preserved vegetables

One of my favorite stops in NYC. Everything is so ridiculously cheap! I always get the knife shaved noodles with minced pork sauce. And the dumplings are to die for!

A must on everyone's to-do-list! Best dumplings I've ever had. 3$ for 10 dumplings, since they changed the menu. Safe space and eat as much as you can.

Skip the noodles and focus on the incredibly juicy and flavorful pork dumplings, the best you'll get in Chinatown--better than all those dumpling shops!

Communal seating and a hearty bowl of steaming noodle soup. Noodles made in front of your eyes - labor and love. Easy to appreciate the hard work, light broth, and a beef brisket noodle soup.

#1 - Hand-pulled noodle soup (beef broth) with beef and bok choy - $5.50 Noodles pulled fresh after you order. After several years of going here, it's still amazing to watch these masters at work.

Their fried dumplings beat out all the usual suspects--Prosperity, Vanessa's, etc. The meat is so juicy there is no need for sauce. Although, the chili and sweet soy sauce are delicious as well.

This place gets crowded really fast, so anticipate some wait time when you come. That said, the noodle soups are amazing (make sure to season them), and the sweet dumplings are a real treat.

Order the dumpling noodle soup and slurp it down as they make fresh noodles while you watch. Be sure to add the chili sauce from the jar.

Get the noodle with 'miced pork sance'. It is the best. And then afterwards get 50 frozen dumplings at the amazing price of $8. It's way better than the stuff you buy in supermarkets.

I went on an all-day dumpling crawl with friends and this was hands-down the best dumplings we had in NYC. They also sell bags of them frozen to take home.

Dumpling is the reason I came. I had to bring a bag of the frozen dumpling home, that good. As for the noodle, it's good, but I'd still prefer the other LAN Zhou noodle at Eldridge and canal.

Noodles are freaking awesome. Not crazy about the beef. Just wish I could eat bowls of plain noodles. Fried dumplings are cheap and awesome. Skin is light and thin.

Even if you don't dine in, buy their homemade frozen dumplings ($8.50-$10 for 40 pieces? Sorry, I forget), they are scrumptious! Lean, not doughy & fresh. Trust me! P.S. I didn't even fry them.

Beware of 'Lan Zhou' two doors down with the exact same yellow menu and red font. Lam Zhou is smaller, better, and has a guy in the back making cat's cradle from a giant ball of dough.

If you want thicker noodles, you can ask the chef if they have the knife shaved noodles. I usually call and ask before I trek to East Broadway.

Look for street numbers as this is a very tiny place that has no sign in English, it is near a Kitchen equipment store place.
