While at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, enjoy the art glass installations in concourses A and C. Nine local artists created concepts for an overall glass canvas of nearly 50 square feet.

Make sure to get here early as security lines are long and don't always move quickly, especially for SW. Good food choices beyond security though which is a nice change.

Some great history with TWA, unfortunately that ship sailed many years ago. If you stay at the airport Hilton you can see some great pics of Lambert in its glory days.

Find the secret "family" bathrooms if you can. Most people are confused as to whether or not they are allowed to use them so they are usually unoccupied and they are much cleaner!!

At security, put your wallet, phone, keys, change, etc. in your bag or your coat pocket. It keeps your stuff together and it's much easier to get your stuff on the other side of the x-ray

Never be the guy who carries his own pillow on the plane. Also don't be the guy that carries giant stuffed animals. Lastly, don't be the guy that lets your kids - or you - wear neck pillows. Ever.

Don't ever park in the B lot. I can't leave because I have an unreadable ticket and a supervisor will take 15 minutes to come down so I can leave. I'm hostage because their technology doesn't work.

Their security checkpoint is lousy. NOT a quick or easy experience, even at 5 a.m. So get there with hours to spare, even for domestic flights.

Terminal E is nice and long, perfect for walking during your layover. Maybe if more people did that, they'd actually fit in the airplane seats. Just saying.

The Metrolink is $4.00 one ride good for 2 hours...that will get you all the way to Shiloh-Scott in Illinois...& don't forget to validate your ticket...fines are steep!

Slowest TSA I've ever experienced. With No queue outside the actual security area (into the roped area) allow at least 15 min. If it gets into the ropes you will have a very long wait.

If you booked with Southwest but you are flying Air Tran you still need to check in with SouthWest. Also if you are going into "the city" so much cheaper to take Metro( $4.00 vs$40.00) .Straight shot

Great airport. Security was really efficient, lunch at Mosaic was delicious. Appreciate the effort. Is all soda in St Louis flat?

Save yourself a few bucks and park in Super Park Lot C. The shuttle wait time and ride is typically no longer from here than the more expensive lots.

Quite possibly the most idiotic terminal design I have seen. Drop off is on level one. Ticketing is on level 2. Security on level 1. Gates on level 2.

Hands down one of the nicest and cleanest airports I've been in! The bathroom stalls are large enough to fit your carry one without having fear of tripping and falling to the lu!

Try peeing on the flies. Fly (as in insect) stickers on the interior back of the urinal tank. How would you like to have the job of putting those stickers on....juvenile but it is the men's room.

If you want a bottle of soda in concourse A, the vending machine has them for $2.25 final price. At the concessions they're between $2.45 and $2.69 BEFORE TAX.

It's not possible to clear security quickly here, so show up early. Fifty naked twenty-something women couldn't get through quickly even if George Clooney himself were running the security lanes.

Don't buy the expensive soda or water at the gift shop by the terminal A kiss and cry area. The vending machines by the old B terminal entrance are cheaper.

Be sure to sign up for the program TSA pre-check. It is a fantastic program and will save Tons of time at Lambert Airport. C gates have a rapid entry point where you don't have to remove shoes, etc.

Grab a bite to eat or drink at the Schlafly Tap Room by the security check point. The food is awesome and the beer is a staple of St. Louis.

The regular brewed coffee at "Starbucks" was labeled "Pike Place" but could not possibly be authentic. It tastes nothing like Starbucks. I recall a similar situation last time I was here 4 months ago.

"Missouri" sounds close to "misery". Easy to see why with the sub-par customer service, expensive wi-fi, intrusive TSA, and lack of dining options at this airport.

Even though the priority security line only has signage for American (and infers you MUST be on their ticket), they'll take status on United and Frontier, too

Please leave your dogs and cats in their carriers. Letting them do their business on the lush terminal carpeting is frowned upon for some reason.

United leaves a lot to be desired. They have serious customer service issues. My recommendation is call customer service, complain to them (nicely), they will hook you up with $$$ toward next flight.

United is Atrocious. I explained that I'd been fuc*d the last three times I've flown with them (2 month period) To which the supervisor said "then fly a different airline." loyalty be damned I guess.

Quite possibly the oddest Arrivals pick up zone ever. You enter a parking lot that resembles the Walking Dead set...don't be alarmed or go upstairs to get picked up at Departures instead

You don't have to throw away your water bottle, just the water. Refill at a water fountain and save money and plastic. Better yet, carry your own reusable bottle from home.

If you’re unable to select the middle seat when booking your flight, do not book that flight. The flight is most likely oversold which could make for an unwanted adventure when take-off time comes.

If you have to check bags at Southwest and there's a long line, get you boarding pass at a kiosk and then go to Express Bag Drop. Much faster even with only one agent.

Can't believe they spent all this money on renovation and didn't expand the bathrooms. Still the tiny, overcrowded hole it always was. They need to raze this place and start over.

This airport has to be one of the worst for a 2+ hour layover. Tiny stinky & old concourse. We can leave the concourse but only if willing to contend with a 45ish minute TSA checkpoint to get back in.

To get through security quickly, have liquids and computers out of ur bag and shoes and coats off and put it all on the belt to scan. Toss the water or down it. Babies out of their carriers too!

When being picked up at the STL airport, its easier to meet your ride on the upper level after you get your luggage. Both the elevator and the escalator are handy and its not a lot of walking.
