Be sure to sign up for the program TSA pre-check. It is a fantastic program and will save Tons of time at Lambert Airport. C gates have a rapid entry point where you don't have to remove shoes, etc.

If your traveling with a service dog don't be nervous. Everyone knew what to do and no one gave me the third degree or asked a lot of questions. Made me much more comfortable!!!

Never be the guy who carries his own pillow on the plane. Also don't be the guy that carries giant stuffed animals. Lastly, don't be the guy that lets your kids - or you - wear neck pillows. Ever.

Have some time to eat and want to get a local taste while you're at it? Check out the tasty fare spiced with locally-sourced BBQ sauce and the hometown craft brews at Schlafly's.

Hands down one of the nicest and cleanest airports I've been in! The bathroom stalls are large enough to fit your carry one without having fear of tripping and falling to the lu!

At security, put your wallet, phone, keys, change, etc. in your bag or your coat pocket. It keeps your stuff together and it's much easier to get your stuff on the other side of the x-ray

Some great history with TWA, unfortunately that ship sailed many years ago. If you stay at the airport Hilton you can see some great pics of Lambert in its glory days.

The Metrolink is $4.00 one ride good for 2 hours...that will get you all the way to Shiloh-Scott in Illinois...& don't forget to validate your ticket...fines are steep!

When being picked up at the STL airport, its easier to meet your ride on the upper level after you get your luggage. Both the elevator and the escalator are handy and its not a lot of walking.

Make sure to get here early as security lines are long and don't always move quickly, especially for SW. Good food choices beyond security though which is a nice change.

Don't forget to leave your computer in your carry-on, your shoes tied tightly to your feet and with any toiletries, be sure they're in oversized containers haphazardly placed in your satchel.

While at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, enjoy the art glass installations in concourses A and C. Nine local artists created concepts for an overall glass canvas of nearly 50 square feet.

To get through security quickly, have liquids and computers out of ur bag and shoes and coats off and put it all on the belt to scan. Toss the water or down it. Babies out of their carriers too!

Grab a bite to eat or drink at the Schlafly Tap Room by the security check point. The food is awesome and the beer is a staple of St. Louis.

If you booked with Southwest but you are flying Air Tran you still need to check in with SouthWest. Also if you are going into "the city" so much cheaper to take Metro( $4.00 vs$40.00) .Straight shot

Find the secret "family" bathrooms if you can. Most people are confused as to whether or not they are allowed to use them so they are usually unoccupied and they are much cleaner!!

Try peeing on the flies. Fly (as in insect) stickers on the interior back of the urinal tank. How would you like to have the job of putting those stickers on....juvenile but it is the men's room.

Please leave your dogs and cats in their carriers. Letting them do their business on the lush terminal carpeting is frowned upon for some reason.

Quite possibly the oddest Arrivals pick up zone ever. You enter a parking lot that resembles the Walking Dead set...don't be alarmed or go upstairs to get picked up at Departures instead

If you need to check a bag on Delta, either have Silver Status or take a late flight. 5pm flights always have a 30-person deep line.

You don't have to throw away your water bottle, just the water. Refill at a water fountain and save money and plastic. Better yet, carry your own reusable bottle from home.

If you have to check bags at Southwest and there's a long line, get you boarding pass at a kiosk and then go to Express Bag Drop. Much faster even with only one agent.
