Lamplighter is known for their micro-roasted coffee. Made in 10lb batches, there is a great deal of care put into their product. Their menu is stellar and most dishes can be made vegan or gluten free

Not only is this the best coffee you'll ever have, but the food is amazing. Fresh, local ingredients and always changing. Also, the owners are some of my favorite people. Love ya Jen and Noellle!

Ahh tip no. 2. Food: Two things come to mind. One, HIPPIE GREENS. They are delicious and I often order them by themselves for a fortifying, nutritious, low cal lunch. Two, FRENCH TOAST. Yummy!

Go for the cappuccino, espresso, and macchiato. I hear the sandwiches are all awesome, no comment (only had two, meh)... but the coffee drinks I mentioned keep me coming back. Best in Richmond.

For breakfast that looks as pretty as it tastes, get the parfait. Lamplighter’s own granola tops off layers of yogurt and fresh fruit, inside one of these lovely, faceted Mason jars.

Since the menu refresh they only do a 6oz cappuccino. But this has the perfect coffee/milk ratio. No sugar required, and quite delicious.

Get a Slayer with the vegan sausage. I'm not vegan, but it's maple glazed with a hint of sriracha. So dank.

Parking sucks. The wait is ridiculous. They DO have good coffee, but Lamplighter is Hipster Central. Still a nice place to hang out, if you go when it isn't so crowded.
