Even with the explosion of new NYC burger joints, this is still Top 5. MUST order with smoked mozzarella + extra pickles.

Nice large bar, great place to hang out for a drink. Chill, more quiet vibe that's perfect for actually having a conversation with your date.

Get the Croque Madame & Steak Frites! Give us melted cheese on most anything, and we’re happy. Make that cheese gruyère, add some ham and a fried egg on grilled country bread? We’re in heaven. Read more

Extensive kids menu and crayons! Many adult options are kid friendly if you'd rather share. Lots of kids here, which may be why they only sell wine by the half bottle and up...they know we need it!

Go Sun. for the short rib ricotta lasagna special. Steaks, burgers, and lamb are always good. Kid-friendly during earlier hours. Great view. Open later than mall, but enter Jazz @LC door to access.

What looks like an overcooked steak is actually the most happy tears-inducing, heavenly loaf of "French toast" I've ever had in my clearly deprived life & I insist you eat this and tell your mom too.
