One of the better places to catch a limited run movie
My favorite movie theatre in the city. Shows all the movies not enough people are talking about.
It's a creepy semi-abandoned mall, but the theatre gets nicer and nicer? And they have snowcaps!!
Recently renovated. There's a full bar, and you can take your drinks into the theater with you.
Finally urban-sophisticated design sense is being applied to the internal scheme of this odd & old building. A form-follows-function design team is reimagining and redecorating the building. Progress!
They just redid the theatre. The seats are huge and have push button controlled foot rests.
Always has the indie movies showing. The mall it is in is kind of sketchy though.
You can pay for parking as you leave. No need to wait for the kiosk.
Some of the films they have here just blow my mind.
Love coming here for Sundance and SXSW winners.
Great Indy Theater, good popcorn too!
Fed Up: highly recommended documentary is your are curious about the obesity epidemic!
Best theater, best seats, best picture screen, best popcorn ever!!!!!!!!!
Some really great movies are shown here!
Seats are subpar but probably one of the better theatre's in the city.
The most amazing and friendly staff here! My friends and I accidentally went into the wrong movie, yet we were able to catch the right movie an hour later, no problem. Thanks again xx
Great popcorn! Terrible bathrooms.
Free parking in the garage next door. Get your parking pass validated at the box office.
A bit of an older theater, but plays amazing films that you may not be able to see elsewhere. Surprisingly not that expensive for its location. Overall, great experience.
Lot of WiFi in the area!
All Americans need to see '12 Years A Slave.' Period.
I haven't seen a bad movie here. Is it my taste or their taste?
Tasty Hebrew National Hot Dogs!
Awesome location, reasonable prices!
Love landmark! Great foreign and independant movies, great concession
They need to remodel cuz da decor is so 90's I thought Screech was gonna pop out of a dark corner
was so psyched for space jam but theater is having technical difficulties. so sad. come on landmark!
A lot of Indie films. Just my style.
The food is expensive, but that's how it is at the theatre!
Great selection of movies. The building is a relic of 90s architecture, though.
Midnight shows are different every week. Go see a classic film on the big screen.
Watched Trishna (with Amy H)- could have edited better. Too long. Like the original version than this one but it was good movie to watch on a Thursday night.
Along with a great selection of hard-to-find and independent films, the theatre's concessions counter is one of the best in the city, with vegan cookies and a popcorn seasoning bar on offer.
Check out the Latino Film Festival here
Free drink and popcorn refills...can't beat it!
Best indie/art house cinema in Chicago.
Great place to catch foreign films
Best place in town to catch an independent movie.
Vegans rejoice at the Alternative Baking Company cookies ($4.50). Surprisingly good, they're available in a ton of flavors like peanut butter-chocolate chip, lemon poppy seed, and oatmeal raisin.
Don't come here to watch a film. The oversell the theaters. Not kidding.
Great indie and foreign movies
Hertz has taken a whole level of the best spaces in the garage. Ugh!
The best arthouse theater in the Chicago area! Take a look at the beautiful terracotta facade left over from when this was the Diversey/Century Theatre. Absolutely stunning!!
Use the machines to buy your tickets and pick the student fare. Save yourself some cash.
Good Seats Every Time
Get a platinum book. $200 for 25 no limit passes.
Theatre 4 smells musty.
Buy your tix ahead of time. If you're seeing a movie during the weekend be sure to arrive at least 30 minutes early or you'll only be able to grab a seat in the first two rows.
