The Grim Burger has just been bumped up to $9.25 for the 1/3 lb of juicy beef with jalapeño, bacon, and macaroni & cheese. It is a beast. My only wish for this is to use fresh grilled jalapeños.

The South of the Border Burger is more than what it promises to be. Here's the beef in case you were asking. Buns are perfection. The cilantro sauce sends it over the top w/just enough kick!

Burger variations include the Firehouse (habanero sauce, cayenne butter, and jalapeños) and the Wasabi (with Wasabi sauce, pineapple, red onion, and Swiss). Read more

Incredible burgers, but first you must prepare yourself sever days in advance. Get your mind, body and soul in the right frame of mind for this. You'll be miserable afterwards. But in a good way.

The standard 1/3 burger is legit. Solid with little to improve on. The buns have the taste and consistency similar to the ones at Three Brother's Bakery.

A step back in time. Great ambiance of a period. Wonderful salsa and chips, old fashioned burger, great fries and onion rings, very good comfort Mexican food , large portions, great prices.

If Mcdonalds is who you consider serves a good burger, this place isn't for you. If you want a delicious pile of juicy madness that oozes down your arm as you eat it - this is where you need to go.

You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorites are the veggie burger for a healthy option or the firehouse burger.

$9.25 gets you the Grim burger. 1/3 lb beef patty, bacon, jalapenos, fried egg, and ... mac & cheese. Yes. Mac & cheese. Don't count on being productive at work after this bad boy.

Cash only. come early or late to get a table. Great burgers: a single with cheese was a 5 napkin affair. Fries are not as good as rings... Great outdoor tables.

Lunch is good; breakfast is better. This is definitely NOT a fancy pretentious place. The only thing that will impress you is the food.

The Grim Burger has everything that you could have ever asked for on a burger! Unfortunately, it's probably the #1 cause of obesity among middle-aged Texan adults. Enjoy!

Last tip: don't wait for your check. When you're finished, remember your table # and go to the register. BTW: they only take cash. No credit cards.

The Greek burger is surprisingly good. It's the 1/3 burger with feta, olives and spinach. The olives used are terrific.

I had the patty melt. It wasn't super amazing, but it was pretty solid as far as patty melts go. Cash only is really dumb though.

Be prepared. Every thing I've ever ordered (except burgers) have had so much pepper that it was almost inedible. I don't know if I can come back again.

Solid burger. Hand-formed patty - actually a minus when they're rushed; can be very uneven (and cook unevenly). Bun is a weak point.

The burgers here are quite good. They are large and juicy. Also they grow all of their own vegetables behind the restaurant.

Chiliheads, do you think you can handle the Firehouse? If you're into the type of spice that causes leakage in your nose and a change in your breathing patterns then this bad boy is for you.

Forget the biscuits and gravy. Dried out, over cooked hockey pucks, with gravy so salty you could cure meat. Stick to the burgers.
