So many outlets! Even in the chairs. Great place to use laptops and/or charge your phone (;
Its full of small bugs!!
Great computer center! The big comfy seats have outlets to charge your devices!👍
This is my favorite study spot on campus aside from the libraries. Something about the architecture, windows and overall open-ness helps me clear my mind and focus a bit better than usual
This building has the funnest elevators!
This building is named after former ASU President Lattie F. Coor. Also, hands down best restrooms on campus. Fortunate to have had plenty of GPH courses here!
Hidden computer commons! A lot of people don't know but there is a computer commons in coor hall! Great place to study or even just hang out!
If you need extra room to park your bike, there's always the bike racks just north of Stauffer Hall.
This building smells weird.
The auditoriums at Coor Hall are by far my favorite on ASU Tempe campus. They are spacious and have great acoustics for lecture presentations. Glad to have had quite a few classes here!
FREE parking for students after 6pm in the parking lot between Mill Ave and this building (same lot as Wells Fargo kiosk). Perfect parking for late night library visits
Tables out front are great for studying.
the computer lab in Coor is a great place to do homework or work on group projects! Book your study room there!
The building has the word "Explore" on top of the building. The women's bathroom stinks sometimes. In the stall, they put up a green air freshners & do not remove them.
Coor computing commons are much more accessible and pleasant than the ones near the bookstore. Try and snag a Mac on the right end of commons-they are way faster than the dells!:
If you sit on the back tables, there is a lot more space available.
Dont pay for printing! Find an empty classroom on the lower level and you can print from any of the classroom computers. I prefer the teacher computer up front cuz it makes you feel powerful.
Check out Hollywood Invades Tempe in Coor Hall on Nov. 30 at 7pm with special guests Stephen Gyllenhaal, director and writer, and Kathleen Man Gyllenhaal, co-producer and writer of "Grassroots."
Slowest computers on campus
The steel and concrete can sometimes create a dead zone for cellphones.
When you are in the basement don't be frightened but the skateboards rolling above you.. its not the roof falling in!
You will have no signal if you have Sprint
The bathrooms are usually left unlocked 24 hours, a good tip for those walking through campus after a night on mill!
This is wear a lot of sign language classes are. Highly recommend taking one! Way more fun than spanish or french.
Stocked with PCs and Mac computers and various printing stations for all ASU students to use. Great place to work on the computer and meet up with friends. There are also outside tables to get a littl
This is a great place to come on campus when your printer at home breaks. There's generally less people here than in, say, the computer commons or the library, and you can get in and get out quicker.
Lots of tables in front and back of building to take breaks or do homework. Also has a computer lab with Macs and PCs.
There is usually availibility at all times at this computer lab on campus, and the atmostphere is good for studying
Don't bother Trying to get a computer during peak class hours I.e. Afternoon - try to get here in the morning!
Conveniently located in the middle of campus this building provides an excellent place to study and work on homework.
Tap foot for bj
Tap foot for a good time
Coor's building has many places to study and meet up with friends to do homework or just to hang out. Located conveniently near Sacks Sandwiches and Barney's its a great place to meet up before break
Coor has the slowest computers on campus, hands down.
Very classy. Wow.
Fun fact, don't expect a cell phone to work in any of the lower level classrooms. Too much concrete. >.<
Did you know Lattie Coor was the president of ASU from 1990 to 2002? He was previously President of the University of Vermont.
I will save you some confusion. If your schedule has a class here in a room number that starts with L1, you're on the first level. In other words, you will need to go downstairs for your class.
Coor has the cleanest bathrooms on campus! They have bathrooms on level 1 and 2.
Don't study on level one! You can hear ppl walking, dropping their stuff, and ride their scooters above u.
Somewhere to sit in between classes: there are tables at the front and back of coor, on either sides of the computer lab. There are also tables located downstairs, which are good for escaping the heat
If u need a quiet and cool place to study, go to the basement level of Coor. It is always quiet and never hot!!
If you're strapped for time & need a computer/printer, avoid the computing commons & go to L1-54 (if there's not a class in session). There's a MacBook at each seat & a printer in the room.
Great place to do homework between classes. When the weather is nice, the concrete picnic tables are perfect for spreading out your work. There are more in the basement if the 1st floor ones are full!
Meters on university and the side streets stop at 6! :) free parking for us night class kids
I love doing homework here before class, it's at a great location by all my classes!
The sinks are not automatic! Do not be fooled! :) you will stand there looking dumb like I have before.
In the bathroom, it may look like an automatic sink but there is a button you have to push on the righthand side
Stephen J. Pyne will give a talk and sign his new book "Voyager: Seeking Newer Worlds in the Third Great Age of Discovery" in Coor 174 on Sept. 15 11:40 am.
There are many interesting events/lectures that are free and open to the public here this semester. Check out
