'Chinatown' Beef Noodles is pretty decent, just having the mixed soup is great! Must Try! (Flimsy Plastic spoon n disposable chopsticks doesn't do this traditional dish any justice thou)

Agree with fellow 4SQ Stewart: carrot cake is a tad salty. It tasted nice @ beginning. But it was torture twds d end. Unsure whether it's their 'chai por' or added MSG flavouring

This is absolutely one of the best hawker food centres in Singapore. Forget the overrated and overpriced Newton Hawker Centre, take your guests here instead. Virtually every stall is award-winning.

Wan tan mee! Super little, super expensive, super long queue, but super yummy and all totally worth it. Make it a bigger portion so you don't have to queue for a second helping. (:

Delicious prawn Mee, tender and juicy grilled chicken wings. Durian stall is a hoax - nothing good even eating 4 boxes of durian. Don't be deceived by the cheap pricing!

The beef noodle is nice & appetising but the aunty cooking it is very forgetful.. If you've special requests eg no green onion, keep an eye on her before she adds it! :-p

Try the Saba fish from the korean store! Very nice and soft, but for those who dun like the stench of fish, please avoid. The kimchi taste similar to the real one!

The Whitley road Mee pok Sucks! The normal $3.30 order only gives you the small slices of fishcake and the Mee pok is disgustingly starchy. Worst Mee pok dry standard ever! Couldn't stomach the noodle
