I eat here quite often with colleagues as we work close by. Excellent food, great service, and all around lovely atmosphere. Feel like I'm back in a tiny, off the main road restaurant in France every
Le Grainne Cafe, 21st Street and 9th Ave. Best NY Creperie yet. Even the French one in the group agreed!
If you manage to get a table next to the window and squint really hard you will almost be in Paris...
An honest French joint, warm, homey, and unpretentious. A savory crépe w mesclun for under $10 = one of Chelsea's better brunch or dinner values. Bonus: atmosphere & peoplewatching.
Saumon fume is fantastic
The nutella crepe was a Sunday afternoon staple for years!! Lovely french cafe where you could literally spend an afternoon reading the paper and enjoying the menu.
If you're solo this place is friendly and keeps a great one-seat table. Left of the door, It has best view of the room & the street. Flaneur, flaunt your inner Flaubert!
Cute artsy café in Chelsea. Order a mouth-watering crepe - you won't regret it!
Delicious cafe au lait and the crepes are unbelievable!
Food is always amazing and tasty. I bring everyone! Cozy and intimate like a real french bistro. Overall great for an intimate casual dinner or for a brunch.
Best French cafe in the globe, or at least West Chelsea. Don't let uncomfortable chairs deter you. Amazing omelets, beautiful crepes and great staff. And if you wait long enough you may even see me.
A trip here is worth it. The food, service and atmosphere are impeccable.
Best crepes in New York City!
Best nutella crepe EVER!
As a French onion soup aficionado, Le Grainne is tops in the city, followed by Cafe Henri, Le Bonne Soupe, and Tout va Bien, in that order.
Came here while back. Lovely atmosphere. Gets really busy though.
Get the confiture crepe with apricot jam, à la mode. So delicious. Also, the La Danielle crepe was super good.
They have good newspaper/mag rack
Fruit crepe is excellent, def try the chocolate croissant too! Be ready to be cramped
The carrot ginger soup and the crepes where delicious! In full frenchie style they let us have a lengthy convo post meal without kicking us out with the check.
The service isn't great, but the food and ambiance are top notch.
They're known for their brunch but the dinner is so underrated. Jasmine curry shrimp!
Thankfully, the delicious food and warm atmosphere made up for the severely lacking service. Only go if you have an hour and a half to spare and don't mind dirty glasses.
Delicious crepes, terrible service. Two tables that were seated after us were served and on their way before we got our meal.
Crepes are amazing. Nice service, friendly people, little tight but very euro-cafe feeling. Highly recommend for brunch - enjoy the atmosphere and food very much.
Without a doubt one of my favorite places in NYC and consequentially the whole world. Come in early for a quite start over a perfect omelette and greens. And ask for Maria, you won't regret it.
You can usually catch Ethan Hawke here in the mornings during the week.
The food is delicious, and they have fun ice cream flavors. Beware: Wine is very expensive considering the super small pour and low quality.
PLEASE get the coconut curry shrimp entree. Just do it, and thank me later. :) but only get it if you like curry!
Goat cheese & rosemary crepe.
the merguez sandwich is absurdly delicious
Best nutella banana crepes. Evah.
One of the best places in the city for weekend brunch
Order the almond croissant! You won't be disappointed!
French onion soup... Full of cheese. Awesome.
Chocolate croissants are the best I've had since Paris. Make sure you ask them to warm it up, makes it that much better
Really enjoyed the breakfast omelette. Good ingredients and well prepared.
you can forgive yourself if the moment you step in, you instantly feel like you're in a traditional parisian bistro and want to exclaim oooh la la! (please don't)
Charming Parisian cafe in Chelsea that serves delicious savory crepes. The French onion soup is perfectly gooey and rich.
Great crepes. And salads. A real French simple bistro. And it's across from Billy's
Amazing French onion soup!
The only cheap + non-pretentious place in the area.
Service is generally atrocious but the food is good
Whatever happens male sure you get ratatouille
One of the female servers was whack at the very end - beware of the snooty brunette w/ponytail. Otherwise the turkey, ratatouille & goat cheese crêpe was amazing! SO much goat cheese!
Salmon crepe was delicious
A tous les Belges/Français en mal de nourriture "européenne", je vous le recommande vivement !!
