The regular workers here are sweet, caring people. The managers are absolute nightmares. Definitely won't return unless it's to lead the common workers to Liberty and freedom.

I generally like Le Pain Quotidian. This one is the worst in Manhattan. The waiters are rude and lazy. They decided to close the back. Everyone was congested into the front area near the cold draft.

Be warned, the menu on the boards does not match the food served. I walked up with a soup and salad in mind. The soup hadn't been available for weeks, the salad for months.

The watermelon cooler is simply divine, as is the heirloom tomato and watermelon salad. Don't ask to heat up the soup however; the chef might give you a dirty look. Server might've been asked before..
