Le Panier, created by Hubert Loevenbruck, opened its doors in 1983. Pike Place Market was the perfect location to share the authentic style of classic boulangerie and patisserie with Seattle. The aroma of fresh-baked bread has delighted our neighborhood for over 25 years.
Pain au chocolat as good as in Paris, yum!
Go to Le Panier at Pike Place and buy an Almadine. Suggested Pairing: Coffee from the Original Starbucks just down the road
Try the Macarons (via @Foodspotting)
You can't go wrong here. Don't mistake it for a tourist trap, it's the closest you can get to actual French bread
the croissants are amazing. i'm addicted to the ham and cheese, but the potato & bacon was yummy too and so filling!
Delicious french pastries, sandwiches made with fresh bread, and great coffee. Located near Pike Place Market, just a few blocks from the Monorail's Westlake Center platform.
Much better coffee than the starbucks nearby.
Plain and raspberry filled croissants are both delicious.
Palmiers. Macaroons. Croissants. Rhubarb tarts. Coffee. Don't miss out on a taste (and smell) of Paris.
This bakery is mandatory when we come to Seattle. French pastries and sensational breads.
Order a napoleon, a chocolate french macaroon, the pate sandwich and an americano, then eat it all in one sitting. Oh yes. And all of it rocked.
You'll feel like you're in France. Get the Brie Baguette.
my hubby and i go there just for their croissants ... yummy
It's been too long, Le Panier. I need to add some rolls...to my middle.
Only ever had macaroons here & never been disappointed. Try-almond, pistachio, caramel, citron, hazelnut. All Excellent. Don't wait in the queue if you only want macaroons. Walk upto the glass case!
GET THE MACAROONS!!! You won't be disappointed
Very polite staff always ask for the special of the day.
Real French Taste!
Hazelnut macaron, amandine (almond pastry) are delish. Decent coffee as well. PPM-must.
Try the chocolatine
My favorite place for a cappuccino and Pain au Chocolat. Have to bee sneaky to get a seat though.
I come here for their meringues (pre-bagged and gorgeous) and their macarons. Of course I wish parking was easier, but this is the market we're talking about!
I always make the trip into Seattle for the bread selection at La Panier. It is worth the trip in order to get fresh bread!
Love their Feuilletés -- the Normandie (chicken in cream sauce) and Champignon (mushrooms in a cream sauce) were amazing
Damn good croissants here - and my favorite 'Bon Maman' blueberry preserve-#home
Normandie, Dauphinois. If you like savory, get those two and thank me later.
A true patisserie ! A bite of one of their croissants brings Paris to Pike Place.
Try the apple tart!
Most delicious eclair!
Good pastries, good simple sandwiches, friendly service.
It is a bakery so it is very warm inside. Sit at the front windows for a cool breeze.
Their coffee is good too. Try it
My go-to spot @ Pike Place. Stop here for an amazing baguette sandwich (+baked treat, +coffee), but come early- they sell out!
Got a raspberry crossiant- very yummy!' Hubby got the chocolate eclair and loves it
Very yummy chocolate croissant.
The pastries and sandwiches are so good! Great for breakfast/brunch!
The Crudités sandwich is delicious, the macaroons are perfect and the croissant are nice and flaky. Sit in the window seat for prime people watching. And expect a touch of attitude when ordering.
Tom Douglas choice for Best Bread Bakery: For the perfect French baguette, Le Panier in the Pike Place Market.
The Dauphinoise is amazing! Also the chocolate almond croissant (I can't remember the name) is to die for!
The smell will lead you here!
The Crudités Sandwich is my go-to quick lunch when in the Market. It never disappoints!
Try the orange and raspberry macaroons :)
Just had coffee but everything smelled yummy and looked wonderful.
The Normandie is to-die-for.
Try Brioche! You will not regret!
Excellent place for Pike Place Market atmosphere and people watching without the chaos! Everything is delicious and authentic. Try the macaroons!!
Jambon Mornay avec café latte. Petite déjeuner parfait!
