Lee’s Art Shop is Midtown Manhattan’s Landmark Destination for Gifts, Calendars, Invitations, Crafts, Art Supplies, Picture Frames and Custom Picture Framing
They have really fun cards for different occasions. A nice alternative to purchasing a Hallmark card.
Great selection & craft staff knows their stuff. Do yourself a favor; get gift box elsewhere. Staff on 4th knows nothing about complimentary boxes for purchases mentioned by 1st floor & rude about it
As far as art supplies or cute gift goes, when all fail, count on this store
Really good for holiday crafts!
The escalators only go up, so either you take the elevator downstairs or you can practice running down moving stairs (my preference!)
Great items but seriously the worst customer service ever. Everyone who works there needs a serious attitude adjustment.
20% discount for students and teachers :)
This place is kitschy crafty. If you're an actual practicing artist there's no need to come here unless you live nearby and need something ASAP.
Just awesome. I could spend hours here
They have Wizard of Oz and "Wicked" figurines!
what more can you want from an art store?
Custom printing on the 3rd floor has the worst customer service.
Beautiful lamps and they have a toy store in the upper level - great gifts and little knick knacks - my source of my calligraphy tools!
unique finds for kids on 4th
Here's a stocking stuffer idea: An autographed copy of this year's Zagat 2013 NYC Restaurants Guide! Meet Tim Zagat at Lee's Art Shop on Thursday, Nov. 29 from 2-4pm!
Mon. - Fri. 9am - 7:30pm Sat. 10:00am - 7pm Sun. 11am - 6pm
Love the place
Moleskine + Micron = all you need
They take your bookbags from you, guy at door made me feel like Al-Qaeda!:( Otherwise, check out the Swarovski chandeliers upstairs!
Checking out frames and getting advice from fellow artists
10% off with your student ID!
You never know when Angelina or Brad will pop into their fav store.
Very nice place. Every floor is just a whole new level of art & supplies
Wide variety of supplies. Directly across the street from the Art Students League. They are expensive but they do have astudent/teacher discount. Sadly return policy is store credit or exchange only.
