A bit over rated
Excellent Chinese food in a very nice setting. Best dishes were the crab meat xiao long bao and the sticky rice.
The sticky rice cooked in bamboo was the highlight. The seafood noodle was unimpressive and it only contained one prawn.
A soup dumpling house for the ages, but you can't go wrong with the rest of the menu either.
Best dumplings in London and everything else is awesome too. My ears always keep popping when I'm here, though! Weirdest thing ever.
Crispy duck. Nice atmosphere.
Cosy atmosphere. Friendly staff. The duck was fantastic.
Pretty much the best food in Chinatown
Forget the crappy service at Wong Kei, come to Legends (may be a queue but for good reason) and enjoy literally anything on the menu. And trust the very capable waitstaff here on whatever they reco.
Beware. They tell you to wait 10 min, then take you inside and make you wait by the toilets for 30 min
Try the bamboo sticky rice, amazing!
The dumplings are so good! This taiwanese restaurant remembered me of taipei food!
Try anything with rice!
The dumplings are perfect and freshly made.
Fast service and great food. A bit expensive and small portions, but still a good choice if you are in chinatown. After you finish your food, you might feel you are been kicked out....
Xiaolong Bao (shanghai soup dumplings) are first rate and great value.
I am Asian. Amazing xiaolongbao. Really nice noodles and even the Taiwanese omelette. Bit weird you have to knock on the door though. Haha
Crispy duck goes well with Tsingtao beer.
The soup dumplings here, of course, are amazing! If it's just the two of you I highly recommend a trio: spicy wontons, pork & prawn soup dumplings, and the duck over rice. Perfectly portioned, <£20!
Xiao long bao
I just come here for the Xiao Long Bao
they pre-cook all the non dim sum dishes and microwave before serving.12.5% tip is already included in the price.
An opportunity to enjoy some of the less common delicacies. Takes a little bravery for the average Londoner to order from this menu, but the food was really tasty
A good place for dim sums.Try their frog soup if you want something fancy ;) Good service!
Great dumplings, duck pancakes, king pow chicken. Really good Chinese food
Taiwanese kebab is pretty unique and very tasty
Avoid pork belly if u hate fat- it is pure fat! Dim sum is not tasty. Overall, wouldn't come back
Very impressed with this place! Kung Pao Chicken, Pork Belly and Dim Sum are to die for! Service is good..
Try the spicy beef noodle soup! Its huge and it tastes amazing!!
Pricey, but their food is to die for!
Braised Pork Belly is the best
Soup dumplings to die for.
Excellent Xiaolong bao and sticky rice in bamboo pot!!
Food is amazing! But service is an indirect correlation (i.e., terrible).
Try the braised pork belly and spicy wontons!
Soup dumplings, crispy beef and pork belly all outstanding here. Quality of food on par with a high end place like mr chow without the sticker shock
Eat dumplings when they are warm, not hot! You will have much more taste
Try Xialongbao and pork belly. Avoid morning glory. Be prepared to wait in the queue.
Try the Wind Shelter Bay chilli crab with mounds of deep fried garlic
Get the cold chilli beef & tripe dish. If you think you don't like tripe, think again - this is unlike anything you'll have had before. Great taste & texture. Get the soup dumplings too, obviously!
Xiu Long bao with chili oil. Heaven.
Food great! Service not so.
Always expect a 15-30 minute wait. Very small but popular restaurant. Dim sums are always freshly handmade, a MUST TRY. Not the best place to talk and relax; a little noisy and felt rushed to leave.
It is noisy, be prepared for a lot of noise from dishes and cutlery coming from the kitchen. But the food is great, full of flavour!
Best Peking Duck I've ever had...
Really great food, and great interior design and atmosphere!
Xiao baos and tender pork with rise - are very-very delicious, must try!
The congee is massive!
