Great food, just watch out for all the junkies.
Love the history of the place and vendors have reasonable prices and good eats for various taste buds
Lexington Market might be sketchy, but it's not unsafe. When you get inside, you'll notice the pros outweigh the cons.
A bit of everything in one place! Will be back!
When you go take your time and walk around because there is so much to choose from. The weekend are off the chain. And before you go hit faidleys and a crabcake
If you want an amazing greasy cheeses teak combo for under 6$ this place is awesome.I'm not sure the stand towards the middle. Asian dude runs it..he's super cool &polite! DELISH!
A lot of different things to try. I'm still working my way through, one stall at a time.
I would't be surprised if you would get a disease for free with the food it comes with. Saw it myself and heard it from a local.
Breakfast with my favorite guy.
Faidleys has amazing lump crab cakes. Definitely priced for the tourist. While this Market has been around for a long time, it does not hold a candle to Pikes Place in Seattle.
My advice would be to avoid the bathroom, but don't miss Faidley's, for their great seafood/oyster bar.
There's seating up front, but ONLY if you've bought food at Faidley's, which you will do because the jumbo lump crab cake is AMAZING!
Keep your money in your bra. And hold your pocket book tight.
Its a wild and cRAZY atmosphere but hey I don't judge!!
CRAZY A$$ Place But Coo!
Lots of good eats for lunch.
Shrimp Fried Rice, Bourbon Chicken, and fruit salad.
I never go here without my gun. Sorry!
Breakfast of kings in there.. A piece and a half of scrapple, one scrambled egg, 1/2lb of potatoes w/ peppers and onions and jellied toast... $4.50! #Winning
Get the chitterlings from the old side
Probably the single most disgusting place I've been to in the city. I wouldn't eat food from here if you paid me. Leaner central, too.
Filthy, lots of drug addicts walking around high as a kite.
Its like the Ferry Building in SF but located in the Tenderloin District. Brave the rough crowd and get a crabcake from Faidley's.
Keep your head on a swivel and your purse clutched close!
Never again, horrible neighborhood !
Be aware of jaywalkers and traffic
Be aware: the area is really bad. Even my taxi driver warned me not to use the bathroom. Glad I kept his number - NO cab in the area. You will be waiting for a taxi next to crack whores looong time.
It's like a circus of butchers, fishmongers and carnival food! This place is awesome!
Find the longest line and order what the person front of you gets.
Try the Shrimp Egg Foo Yung -
The food is cool but the people r ugh!
Stay long enough and you'll leave smelling like fried chicken.
A MESS! CLASSIC BMORE!
Cash only ugh
several really good fried chicken joints! great seafood eateries too! also they have free concerts on fri. & sat. noon-2
I laugh hard at these tips. The option to STAY AWAY is a viable one. Either love it, or leave it alone.
Always rife with addicts and panhandlers. When benefits are out it is rife with mamas and strollers. But the food is great.
This has to be The dirtiest joint in town.along with The other sits are bedbugs, rats and The blowjob i witnesssed On The second floor..The city should be ashamed of its self.
Operational since 1782, the world's largest, continuously running market is home to produce, deli, fish, poultry and candy stalls.
A beautiful place to see what the real face of Baltimore really looks like. The smell is 'incredible'. Oh, and you can buy sushi with food stamps.
Nice food and 1/2 1/2
The Fruit is really good depending on which stand you go to!
Best crab cakes
Lexington Market is the world's largest continuously running market started in 1782 on land donated by General John Eager Howard, a hero of the American Revolution.
