A pitcher of sangria and a few orders of old bay fries is the cure for a very humid summer night.

Nice place, great view. On the downside they really punish smokers, as in you have 3 benches (not tables) near the entrance where the only view you get is the locomotive in front of you.

Great place to spend summer evenings! We've tried calamari, lobster roll, white sangria and fish'n'chips - all amazing! Service is excellent too! Also they accept group reservations

Great views. Pricey drinks, but that's to be expected. It felt like I was in vacation at a beach, not in NYC.

Favorite summer place by the hudson river! Their sangrias are good with a side of chips or their burger!

One of my favorite bars in Manhattan. Makes you feel like you took a trip out of NYC. Try the Sangria!

If it weren't for the bros, I'd probably love it here. Alas, there are too many Lacoste-clad dudes toting buckets of Corona.

Causal outdoor boat area. Gets very busy though, and can be tough to get a table. Everything is self-service here.

Great for groups if y'all can snag a spot. Love the newly renovated bathrooms & beware of potential seasickness.

June 20th: It’s a summer tradition: Sip a glass of white wine and watch the sunset at the Frying Pan, a docked boat off the Hudson. Read more

They don't call it the frying pan for nothing. This place gets really hot, with black rubber flooring sucking up the heat of the day and throwing it back at the crowd.

Unique location! Tried the Grilled Gruyère and loved it. If you've never been here: order first (second booth), then find a table.

Grab your shades and ditch any excess clothing; boat bar season is upon us once again. Head to the Lightship Frying Pan and order a bucket of Coronas or a pitcher of some of New York's best sangria. Read more

Think this place is kinda overrated for the nighttime. But a good option for the neighborhood. Would try during the day.

Would you like to pay $6 for a corona? Would you like to be surrounded by the best NJ, Long Island, and Westchester have to offer? Then this is the place for you! GREAT for out of town guests.
