The bread pudding was my favorite! Great staff too!!
The best fried chicken and bread pudding
Where do I begin? Came here for Saturday brunch buffet. This is what they call a buffet. And they charge you $16 for this crap. It gave us stomach ache afterwards.
Shrimp Grillade and Cheese Grits
My son asked if it was a family style restaurant. I said, no it's buffet. He said, but they treat you like family! Great service and the bread pudding may be the most addictive thing I've ever eaten
Small place, overly packed, which means GOOD DOWN HOME COOKING!
This place is what u call down to earth soul food......make u come back for seconds
THE best fried chicken (get it a la cart) and gumbo in town. Get them to go and stroll over to Armstrong Park for a picnic.
A Tremé classic, where the dark-roux gumbo is chock-full of crab and sausage and the craggy-crusted fried chicken is sold by the piece.
Great cafe away from the tourist zone. All dishes good esp po boy, fried chicken, gumbo. Staff v friendly too. Quite cheap too. Locals also go- a good sign!
Having breakfast with my Jr/Sr. High school friends
By far the BEST bread pudding I've ever had!
French toast. Awesome!
Overrated! Service was unacceptably slow and the bread on my po' boy was stale. The bread pudding was awesome, but not enough to salvage the experience. You can do better for Cajun in NOLA.
A little dive restaurant... but good food. The bread pudding is a must.
If you want a real NOLA experience....this place feels like home. Everything is great. Try the Trout with Mac n Cheese. Love the sassy waitresses.
The one on Poydras is much better! This is a hole in da wall with the roaches ewww
Supporting a @ROCNola High Road partner :) If you're in #NewOrleans, you must eat here!
All the chicken and fish I can eat!
Shitty tourist trap—don't waste your time for typical New Orleans terrible service.
Get the French toast and grits.
gumbo will make you slap ya mama
Featured extensively in HBO’s “Treme,” Lil’ Dizzy’s is perfect for a creole or soul food lunch from the lunch buffet. Call for hours. [Eater 38 Member]
The absolute best food in new Orleans!!
Great place to get breakfast before you head over to Jazz Fest
Service isn't the greatest (actually very poor) but the food is worth it!
Great seafood gumbo and sweet potatoes/yams to knock your socks off!
