People tend to check in during these times:
Lincoln Castle is home of one of the four surviving original copies of the Magna Carta, as well as Lincoln's Crown Courts.
Built from 1086 by William the Conqueror, and since 1216 home to one of the copies the Magna Carta (the UK's version of a bill of rights).
Built during the late 11th century, the castle is unusual in that it has two mottes. It is only one of two such castles in the country, the other being at Lewes in Sussex.
