If you use lots on west side of 110, use bridge there are no Entrances to Station side from 110. You'll need to walk all the way around North parking lot.

If the train drops you on the opposite track, it can be hard to tell where the station house it located until all the trains clear out.
I always have to change the train here. (stony brook - penn) sometimes hicksville but my schedule is always at huntington. ;P
You can't get a taxi really late. If you're coming in past 12:30 plan to have a ride. Or be prepared to wait.

All stations going east from Huntington, when being transported by bus or coaches is FREE. & Port Jefferson going west all stations to Huntington are FREE when being transported by bus or coach.
Going to Huntington and parking in south parking garage, 3rd car stops at the overpass.

If you're approaching from the cab station side, and your train is on Track 2B, you have to go up the crazy stairs and cross the maze of a walkway to get there... hope the doors aren't closing soon!

Those trains WILL leave on the dot so make sure to give yourself at last five minutes breathing space.
Sitting near the back of your train will place you on the east side of Penn. Sitting near the front will place you near the west side.

It might seem crazy at first, but if you need to rent a car and live in NYC, take the LIRR and walk 10 minutes to the Enterprise, where the rental will cost you half the price!
