A little taste of Melbourne in the heart of New York City. Great coffee (made the way it should be!) and classic Australian food to match. Can't go wrong with Vegemite on toast!

The best coffee and bites in Midtown, dare I say it Manhattan. Go for a capp (full-fat, live a little) pair it with a PBJ, make your friend order the Avacado Smash. Perfect mix of sweet and savory.

They serve counter culture beans! Great pour-over. My past go to place when I worked nearby. The staffs become your friends when you're a regular. Crowded at lunch but the lunch food is great too.

1st of the now many Aussie coffee houses that pairs amazing espresso drinks with great food that goes beyond just your typical pastries. The "Little Collins st" sign was given by the Melbourne mayor!

Little Collins Café not only serves up coffee of a quality that is hard to match elsewhere in New York, but also pairs the liquid delights with outstanding Aussie café culture inspired dishes.

The most delicious coffee I've ever had. Don't be fooled by the smaller sizes- the coffee is strong! The avo toast is also worth a mention- especially with an egg on top.

This is the best Australian specialty coffee in NYC hands down! Try their PB&J toast and avocado toast too! Staff are very friendly and skilled despite crazy crowds around 2pm.

Unique selections, great coffee and good ambience in general❤️ such a tiny place but worth it. Their macchiato with the PBJ toast is the best combination ❤️

Amazing breakfast spot. Smashed avocado toast with feta cheese and poached eggs & a pour over were top notch! Tough to get a seat, but worth the wait. Super friendly staff make it a great place to be.

The Sweet Uncle Fred, get it. The combination of banana bread, ricotta, honey, and berries is heavenly. They make a great flat white too, much better than your average coffee.

Best coffee shop in midtown period. Great cold brew and love the drip. Food happens to be excellent as well as far as coffee shop food/pastries go. This is such a GREAT addition to midtown east.

Solid addition to Midtown with great coffee, great food and great snacks. The Smash (avocado, feta, chillis, pepitas on toast) is a brekky fave! Go here for a work break coffee or post-MoMA.

A midtown treat, Collins hand crafts delicious espresso drinks and pour over coffee. There is also a kitchen providing unique sandwich & salad options; I recommend the roast chicken with a cold brew!

A must for breakfast takeout. Grabbing a table is impossible. The "Pick Me Up" is my goto breakfast sandwich. But add the "Sweet Uncle Fred" to whatever you order...it will make your day.

This Aussie spot is known mostly for its flat whites and avo toast, but give the iced latte a chance, too. It’s smooth with just the right amount of milk. Read more

Avocado toast ftw!! Properly brewed coffee is refreshing. They brew counter culture coffee, an excellent roaster that is hard to find in ny. Try the Idido if the have it - herbal and floral!

Probably the best little coffee shop in Midtown. It gets crowded pretty quickly. Go to the bar and admire their brewing setup after you order your coffee, it's integrated into the counter.

Small space and no lunch menu available on weekends. Get the sweet uncle fred: toasted banana bread with ricotta, strawberries, honey, and toasted almonds.

Avocado Benedict - either Bacon or Salmon - is to die for. You can have a hard time looking for a table or a space in the counter though.

Food is fresh and tasty. Most of the sandwiches include eggs so you'd need to them to enjoy the food. Nice vibe and pleasant atmosphere. Place is cozy so shouldn't be a big group going

The iced coffee is strong, smooth and just ever so slightly sweet. (I drink my coffee black). comes in one size which is probably a medium in most places. And the straw is solid. A+

Get the olive oil cake! It's perfect - crunchy top and delicious, moist, flavourful cake. Or the banana bread, you really can't go wrong. Super friendly service as well.

Probably one of the best Lattes I had in New York. They do sell sandwiches, but the place only hold 10 people, so it's not the best place if you're looking to stay longer (it's always crowed)...

What to Order: A piccolo latte, a traditional Australian drink with a double shot of espresso and a small amount of steamed milk. It’s similar to a cortado.

Very friendly, coffee-passionate baristas. Care and attention go into preparing drinks. Walk a few extra blocks to go here before you give in to Starbucks, it's worthwhile.

My go-to coffee spot for catching up with an old friend. Delicious coffee and friendly staff. It feels like you've escaped the midtown craze and traveled to London for a brief moment.
