Cool little shops here like what you'd see on the Venice Boardwalk. 7-11 to the South. Starbucks towards North. Museum Row North on Wilshire

Lots of great dining options here. But my personal favorite: After sunset, have dinner at "Meals by Genet".

Metered street parking on the main strip or limited time parking on the nearby residential streets, read the signs carefully!

Don't bother coming too early - the shops and restaurants run on international - NOT LA - time - which means, nothings open before 10 at the earliest - usually around noon - and stays open till 2am

Discover the refreshingly authentic scene in Little Ethiopia, where you can smell tumeric and paprika, and hear colorful African pop blaring from store radios.

Read the menu at each restaurant. Some have gluten free or veggi items.

Gas is cheapest about a mile West, on Olympic @ Arco. Most other area pump stations are pretty steep in price.
