Check out our 1969 Airstream trailer, serving One Twenty Three espresso and coffee and our favorite pastries.
Humongous space, sweet baristas, great cortados, vegan doughnuts and delicious bagels. heyyoooo.
If you're out near Berkeley, Local 123 is a nice shop that features Chemex brewed coffee with a metal Kone filter. They also have a nice outdoor sitting area out back.
Credit card minimum is only $5 now! Latte and a small cookie will do the trick :)
Get a pour over coffee with the Kone filter and enjoy the extra flavor.
Yay.....Holiday special in January : buy a bag o' beans, get a drip for $1.
Decent coffee! Also had lovely butternut squash ricotta toast with orange salt and a delish sea salt dark choc cookie! Great place to work, outlets at outdoor bench and at big table at the back.
Felt like I spent too much for too little. The quality of the coffee was good, but the cup size...I didn't think they made cups that short.
Espresso and pour over, great snacks
Good coffee, great patio.
Bad customer service, cold food, unwelcoming
Great place to work.
Berkeley's best cafe
Hands down, the best coffee shop in the east bay. Delicious food, terrific coffee.
Ugh. So slow.
Bring cash. $10 minimum is steep (and I've been stuck w it three weeks running). The pastry from Brittany is ridiculously good.
Bring Cash! $10 minimum on cards. Latte + almond milk is good
They have almond milk and four barrel coffee. Yum.
Get the poached eggs with greens. Seriously.
Expresso really good and strong
On a cool day, it's freezing inside. Turn on the heat!
An excellent latte right here.
The everything bagel with the fixings is fantastic.
New menu has kale
The latte here saddles the line between second (dark) and third (green) wave coffee better than anything. Pretty much perfect. Perfect. Perfect.
For parents of little ones, one of the bathrooms has changing table (yea!) . The garden patio fits strollers and is a great place to sit with yummy coffee and snacks.
Best biscuits ever!!
Bring cash. $10 credit card minimum.
If you are looking for a glass handle 10 cup chemex here is where you can get one ( or Sweet Marias on week days)
Local poach for the win!
Try the single origin espresso, from Coava Coffee in PDX.
Saw the painting on Berkeleyside and wanted to see it - our referral group meeting was a perfect opportunity
Alex is a great barista! Best experience I've had at a coffee shop.
Really nice spot to work. Awesome back patio. Get a pour-over from a Coava Kone!
Seriously. The strongest coffee you have ever had!
Best coffee, espresso in the bay area
Movies at Lical 123
more random tips: the peanut butter cookies are delicious and wheat-free. enjoy the outdoor patio on a nice day, especially when the neighborhood kitty visits. they also sell hario brewing equipment.
Really good oatmeal
really good oatmeal
Another good place to find coffees from multiple roasters. Don't neglect their pour-over bar.
Get the red Bionade and marvel at how inferior other soft drinks are.
Great place for coffee. No power outlets though.
egg sandwich is yummy
The Kenya is amazing
try a single-origin espresso. they do a pretty good job of wrangling them here, and that's no easy task.
Don't show up with a book without headphones or a lot of focus. The click-clacking of keyboards makes it a little tough. And it's always going on. Coffee is good, though.
Hipster heaven (cool kid h-e-double hockey sticks). Quakenbush for president!
Mumbai chai is divine. The salty goat is delish. The Internet is free but bring a power strip.
I love the Mumbai chai.
have skinny jeans and a love for complex coffee
