    The smoked bacon is to die for. It is meat candy! Lockhart' s can get a little pricey, but only because you order so much delicious food! Also try the burnt ends and brisket!

    The brisket is great. The sweet potato mash is awesome! It tastes like pie! The ribs are kick-ass! Also, there was a hot Asian girl sitting at the bar last night. This place rocks!

    The sauces are all amazing! The poblano dip was delicious. I split the two meat combo, pulled pork and sausage were excellent. Mac n cheese and sweet potato fries are on point

    Pulled pork nachos are big. The tortillas are great, but the pork is very average. Also had brisket and sweet potato mash which were meh. The standout of the meal was the red hot sausage. Fantastic!

    Half-off appetizers for a Foursquare check-in. Get the burnt ends or fried green beans. The corn bowl is life-changing, and so is the pulled pork sandwich!

    Service was mediocre (maybe a quarter full at 4:30 on a Sunday) but the food was great. We had the poblano dip, pulled pork, BBQ chicken, crispy potatoes, mac&cheese, cornbread.

    The ribs and pulled pork combo was great with the Signature sauce. I also had the sweet potato mash and the bacon. Yum!

    Carolina Gold BBQ sauce is where it's at. Great MI beer selection. Service is friendly. Great place all around.

    Their Brisket is on the dry side, but still full of flavor. Use some of their Carolina sauce and you are good to go.

    Hot sausage is nice and spicy. The Jet Black beer is good. I'm sure the portions are a good size for the average human?

    Still working out the kinks. Be patient. There is good potential here. Also, great supporters of Michigan-made beer: 10 on tap plus many more in bottles.

    Burnt ends are delicious!! Ribs fall off the bone and brisket is yummy, so are the jalapeno brown beans.

    Try the Quadruple Bypass sandwich, 1 lb. of meat with a chocolate ding-dong served on top of the bun. Great food!

    New BBQ joint in Royal Oak. PROS: Great Pation and Atmosphere. CONS: Waited for 1.5hrs to get served and the food was average at best. COMMENTS: new place still getting their feet wet I guess
