Lombard Street is best known for the one-way section on Russian Hill between Hyde and Leavenworth Streets, in which the roadway has eight sharp turns (or switchbacks) that have earned the street the distinction of being the crookedest [most winding] street in the world

    World's crookest street. Definitely a must. Snap a few photo at the top and bottom of the street. It's a one way. So after snapping yourself some photos, drive down the crooked street.

    I have spent 2 years of my life in the neighborhood but It's still fun to walk up and down the street. Make sure you have very good brakes on your car before attempting to drive this street.
