Beer, wine and spirits from Germany and delicious, home made food in Manhattan's Lower East Side!
Good Hefeweizen here! Fun atmosphere for groups especially.
Sit outside in the back and take in some fresh air.
German food and beer garden. Great outdoor space. Solid German food. Currywurst, schnitzel, etc all excellent I find it to be a better beer selection than Zum Schneider, but I like Zum's more honestly
Loreley has really grown on me. Especially when I see my German friends loving it so much!!
beer + sausage sampler are awesome (I must admit I don't remember the entire night though 😳)
Great place to grab a drink, wide range of German beers. Perfect for Oktoberfest
Great sausages and great service! Staff is cool with people hanging out for awhile (not constantly asking if you "need anything else"). Great place for a lazy afternoon beer and snack.
Bratwurst platter is the way to go!
Food is bland but overall okay. HUGE beer glasses.
If you were thinking about ordering the Sausage Party, you should order the Sausage Party. Get a little taste of everything.
Nice backyard patio, great sausages and pretzels, but I guess I just don't like German beer very much.
Open late. Good selection of German beers and very good pretzels.
cheers to an awesome beer garden! can't wait to check it out in the summer
I never thought I'd declare this in public but I 💗 wieners
The beer is good, the fries not so much. Also, place tends to be very loud.
Such a great outdoor space + all the beer, pretzels, and sausage you could ever want.
This place is a gem - we love the backyard patio! Dock your Citi Bike at Rivington and Chrystie. Enjoy a stein or two, and be sure to take a cab home!
Yes they have the best Augustiner Bier from Munich.
All about that Schnitzel Sandwich. Perfect for midweek outdoor lunch!
Get the pork schnitzel & a beer flight! Btw, the large beer is HUGE.
Best place in the LES to get liter beers. Food here is great too, I'm a sucker for the curry wurst 😋
Beautiful place with a lot of beer choices and delicious foods. Pommes frites was amazing! And the oscar goes to ApfelStrudel!
The Sauerbraten with Kartoffelklöße and Rotkraut was delicious and authentic!
Try the Gluhwein. Is a delicious mulled wine
Food and beer: ok, but I've had much better. Probably nice on the outdoor patio in the summer.
Nice selection of beers. Wasn't very impressed with the food though. We had the pretzels and sausage platter. Might be worth checking out in the spring/summer
Extensive German beer list. Weihenstephan Hefeweissbier is a good choice for those who are not that into bitter tastes.
Great garden area - try the apple strudel
The tables smelled like beer had been aging on them! But the fries were amazing!!!!
The wiener schnitzel was surprisingly good. Always a save bet!
Awesome beer selection and a great back patio. Try the schnitzel fingers!
Just a great outdoor space in a relatively barren area of the city if you want to enjoy the nice weather
Spaten Oktoberfest $9
The back garden is adorable and unexpected- a great place to spend a leisurely afternoon day drinking (garden closes at 10pm). Great German beers. Fries are on point, too.
The spätzle is sadly really bland. The back patio is very nice though.
Bratwurst (w/ mash & sauerkraut), Reibekuchen and Kartoffelsuppe are winners, the curry wurst not so much.
Massive glasses of beer! Go during Oktoberfest to try all the fun seasonal beers they offer.
Potato soup was good, but the place is very loud
The basement is a great place for a private birthday party! They allow you to play your own music and staff the bar.
Playlist waaaay too female focused. I'm good on "Let's Hear It For The Boys" for a few years. Otherwise solid spot.
Good to be here.
WiFi info - ssid:Sausage Fest pass: beer2013
They don't actually have pretzel rolls on their sliders
Come in the summers a sit in the backyard
The pretzels are yjmmmmmmmmmm
If Sweet & Vicious is too divey for your taste of outdoor patios, give Loreley a try. They have beer flights!
