Of course it's a heartbreaker. It's not called the house of pain for no good reason. Best tip here is the cafeteria on the 9th floor with spectacular views of the city for free.
Awesome old building, top floor has a great view. Don't bother waiting for the elevator though, you'll never leave.

If you are late on your 2nd day of service they will not start until you show up. So make sure you are on time or call in and let them know. Expect dirty looks from other jurors.

Wear comfortable shoes because you are going to learn what standing in a line that never moves is all about. Also, don't cut in line! The natives will eat you alive for such a transgression.

Someone said that this is criminal cases, they just announced they are mostly civil. So if called here, I believe you will most likely deal with a civil court case.

This is where criminal trials are held, not civil. Thought this mighty be helpful for potential jurors. Also, you don't get paid for the first day of service (juror selection day)

Yes, that long line on 1st wrapping around to N. Hill is the jurors entrance, despite what your summons may say about entering on 1st St.
