Otherworldly cacti, whimsical topiary, and a collection of silver-and-blue-gray plants mark this eccentric garden designed by a glamorous, Polish-born socialite. For more: http://tandl.me/SNik9D
Because Lotusland is a public garden in a private, residential neighborhood, reservations are required.
Non-members must make a reservation to visit.
Pretty place, but the tour is long & bless her heart, Helene M. is nice, but she doesn't speak English very well and mumbles in a very soft tone. Wish we had a different docent!!
Don't miss the cycad garden, theater garden, and clam shell pool!
Beautiful garden. Be prepared for tours to go longer than 2 hours. Give yourself at least 3 hours for the tour, questions, and walking around.
Went on a great tour with Jim, he works Thursdays and Saturdays. The actual address to get in is NOT on Ashley Road, it is 667 Cold Springs Rd.
