Pizza pie! Go to this one rather than the on on S State St. That is full of college kids around 6pm. Prepare for a 40 min wait for tables. This one is way better.

Not for the lactose intolerant person, obviously!

No soap on first trip to john; no towels on second. Pizza had a blanket of sausage that was pretty gross.

  • Kristopher W.

My wife says the gluten-free is excellent. The thin crust is good as well. Not excellent but good.

  • Alison P.

Delish deep dish but be prepared to wait a while. Takes 45 mins to make.

Best deep dish pizza in Chicago. Service is very slow though. Deep dish usually takes an hour to get done but when it's crowded, +30mins. Deep dish cookie for dessert is amazing!

Had the hot chicken wings - not a lot of meat on them but the sauce was excellent! Pizza was amazing as far as deep pans go! Highly recommend the 'Lou's Special' 👍

Man! Best deep dish pizza I've ever had. Got the Lou's personal pizza which has mushrooms, spinach, and tomatoes. Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, all around good experience.

It was good, but I liked Gino's East more. Still good deep dish pizza though. Definitely not complaining.

Order the Malnati salad. It is like a delicious cross between a BLT salad and a Greek salad. The large serves four.

Loved the butter crust at Malnati's, but the can't miss is definitely their dessert pizza: a cookie dough base cooked in a deep dish pan, then filled with ice cream and topped with whipped cream.

  • Christina S.

Was not as good as expected after reading the reviews. Had the Lou-parts of the crust were soggy and the ingredients didn't seem very fresh. Very heavy and left me with a stomach ache.
