If the public concourse is hot enough for you, then go to the fully air-conditioned Food Garden. Chiller than outside. Plus, the drinks at KFC is refillable. Socket plugs for charging also available.

The PA (public address) system will make your ears bleed! The speakers are on full blast so messages are garbled. Listen carefully and you might miss your flight (and hearing).

If you got the boarding pass printed at Kiosk, do ensure that check-in counter staff verify it with a stamp b4 proceeding to boarding gate. Or else you would have to get out of Q & get it rechecked.

For those who feels uncomfortable when sitting on the plane's 90 degree seating, learn to reposition yourself when sitting. There's a instruction booklet about this at your front's chair.

Don't simply park, traffic police will summon if the vehicle is left unattended. And strictly no smoking within the area. Head toward the end of the terminal to have a puff.(Or where smokers gathers!)

Have found 3 different (public-ish) wifi signals: Free Public Wifi (dodgy signal), Wifi@KLIA (less dodgy) and Starbucks (at or near the venue).

Never bring stuff like yr favourite Swiss Army Knife in yr carry-on luggage. It would be confiscated, and then stolen.Either check it in, pass to a friend - figure something out.

The Nasi Padang stall at the Food Garden just at the end of the terminal outside LCCT uses a tactic to OVERCHARGE you for food by NOT issuing a receipt. Check prices of each item before ordering.

The downside to cheap air travel is having to put up with the LCCT. Difficult to get to the city centre, crowded and unclean. A far departure from what you expect from an international travel hub.

Its really wonderful to see how LCCT has transformed to become a busy terminal as compare to the past as if it's a deserted terminal with more shops to hang out and kill time while waiting for flight.

Now can do mobile check in and u'll be sent a barcode. With this barcode go to one of the machines and self-print the boarding pass. That easy! But they should provide more of these machines soon

Gates Y1 and Y2 are cordoned off from rest of departure area. So you won't get a toilet or money changer here. There is however a little Eraman duty free shop (somewhat useless, IMHO)
