    If you hold a Diners Club Card go to the Plaza Premium Lounge next to the first set of Boarding pass checks for passengers. Free beer food showers towels powerpoints (or pay if no diners card)

    It is the best way to take plus liner to go to KL. Only Rm 5.50 include train fare. The bus will go to salak tinggi ERL. From there u will take the Express Train to KL central.

    The PA (public address) system will make your ears bleed! The speakers are on full blast so messages are garbled. Listen carefully and you might miss your flight (and hearing).

    Free internet is not the best but doest the job.. not many food choices once you are in the boarding area, so just eat before or bring something! ;)

    If the public concourse is hot enough for you, then go to the fully air-conditioned Food Garden. Chiller than outside. Plus, the drinks at KFC is refillable. Socket plugs for charging also available.

    For those who feels uncomfortable when sitting on the plane's 90 degree seating, learn to reposition yourself when sitting. There's a instruction booklet about this at your front's chair.

    The cheapest shop to buy water is at Pusrawi Pharmacy & Health Pro near Maybank for RM1.50 (500ml) at the International Departure Airport. Unless if you want to buy onboard for RM3

    Going for a short trip? Park your car at the carpark where the post office & maybank are located at. Cheapest parking rate in the area & it's max RM16 per day.

    You have to take laptop or any electrical devices out from bag and let them scan it now. So, take out every electrical devices first before you go through the scanning device. They will force you to!

    Recommend to head into departure gate if you are flying international as the Aircon inside is cooler and there's a lot more seats there

    The Nasi Padang stall at the Food Garden just at the end of the terminal outside LCCT uses a tactic to OVERCHARGE you for food by NOT issuing a receipt. Check prices of each item before ordering.

    Web check in done? Proceed to print your boarding pass by scanning the barcode given and proceed immediate to departure hall. You must validate your pass and id at the counter first

    If you got the boarding pass printed at Kiosk, do ensure that check-in counter staff verify it with a stamp b4 proceeding to boarding gate. Or else you would have to get out of Q & get it rechecked.

    The downside to cheap air travel is having to put up with the LCCT. Difficult to get to the city centre, crowded and unclean. A far departure from what you expect from an international travel hub.

    Leave your car overnight or for days? Park at carpark next to Tune hotel at zome c or d with only RM16/day. With guards. Most pilots n air stewards leave their vehicles here

    This isn't near KLIA so plan your transfers with lots of lead time. The process is haphazard so come early (2 hours).

    Don't simply park, traffic police will summon if the vehicle is left unattended. And strictly no smoking within the area. Head toward the end of the terminal to have a puff.(Or where smokers gathers!)

    You can weigh your baggages for free. Look for these weigh scales provided by a local air carrier in the main hall before the x-ray scanners and baggage dropoff.

    Make sure you are at the gate 30 minutes before departure! Otherwise it's to list and found to recollect your checked in bags and counter 66 to pay a penalty for next possible flight!

    Airasia ticket is not cheap. You pay for the ticket only. Everything is do it by yourself from check in, bag tag etc.

    Flight announcements are very poor and you really need to be alert...the massaging chairs are great at Rm 1( inside the departure hall)

    If you are staying here for the night, take the bus to the KLIA main terminal for a good rest, it is less crowded n quiet. The return fare is rm5.

    Counter at carpark A is the only place u can top up your touch n go. Not a single shop in LCCT has this facility. Great Malaysian planning as usual...

    If you are doing a transfer to another carrier you will likely need to catch a coach to Kuala Lumpur International Airport - KLIA); turn left as you exit the building and find the bus to KLIA. RM$2.50

    Now can do mobile check in and u'll be sent a barcode. With this barcode go to one of the machines and self-print the boarding pass. That easy! But they should provide more of these machines soon

    Pay attention and dont expect much. Eat and use washroom before you get here. If u need help ask for it- you may have to walk 1km outside to get to your plane. At least u saved $$$

    There's food to be bot inside the waiting/holding area before boarding. There's local tidbits to be bot after going thru customs but prices are probably 30% inflated so get it in the city

    SkyBus AirAsia from LCCT to KL Sentral cost RM9.00 one way. Direct to KL Sentral. From KL Sentral we can use other various types of public transportion. Bus, KTM, taxi & etc.. :)

    Have found 3 different (public-ish) wifi signals: Free Public Wifi (dodgy signal), Wifi@KLIA (less dodgy) and Starbucks (at or near the venue).

    You better drop your luggages at the entrance first(if you're coming by car) and then find parking because it could be a tedious and long work.

    Better get someone to pick u up or book a taxi earlier to head back home. Unlike @KLIA, needed to queue up for 30 mins to get a taxi after purchasing the coupon inside arrival hall. This is simply BS.

    Never bring stuff like yr favourite Swiss Army Knife in yr carry-on luggage. It would be confiscated, and then stolen.Either check it in, pass to a friend - figure something out.

    Take the black airport limos to town. They cost a lot less than the metered taxis. The booth is very hard to find. Ask around.

    Beware when shopping at LCCT duty free Malaysians! If your trip frm overseas back to KL is less than 72 hrs (> 3days) there are duties imposed when going through customs! Tis is what i experienced

    Unlike Airasia in Singapore, you hv to print the web/mobile check-in. Without it, you hv to pay RM 10 for each person.

    Airasia..means there are no option.. LCCT! There are a lot of place to chill on waiting ur flights.. I prefer coffee bean..not too crowded.. Use Firefly nextime..KLIA.. Better.. =)

    Platinum Cardholders using Premium Lounge, b aware dat after registring yr card at Lounge, u will hve to charge around Rm3k(pending Bank) to yr card within 30days otherwse dey will charge u a FEE!

    Best way to get out of LCCT at the moment: bus bay no 6, KLIA transit shuttle bus to Salak Tinggi station (from where you board the train). Leaves on the 25th& 55th min every hour. 12.50 to KL Sentral

    The shuttle bus to erl has moved from station 6 to the 3rd lane directly opposite coffee bean. Just look around for the ticket vendor in black and red polo shirt.

    Cab from bukit bintang at 85 ringgit about 1 hour . Fuss free. Do web check in and then use drop- bag service. No queue. Free wi fi for 2 hours .

    Its really wonderful to see how LCCT has transformed to become a busy terminal as compare to the past as if it's a deserted terminal with more shops to hang out and kill time while waiting for flight.

    On AirAsia, you need to self check-in at kiosk, before you go to check your bags. Also, at Buy&Fly, the rice dish (looks like Chinese zhongzi) is not so good.

    Shuttle for fast train station is every 30 minutes. Using train to go city is a wiser option in comparison to bus service.
