Super crowded airport. Cagayan de Oro City needs a new (and larger) one!

There are several electrical outlets at the back of the pre-departure area where you are free to charge your always low-batt iPhone, other cellphones & laptops.

Pasalubong items here esp vjandep pastel are a bit expensive (P50-75 higher) from the normal price. Upi should buy in the downtown area before going to the airport.

Downtown CDO is just 15 ~ 20 mins away from Lumbia Airport with moderate traffic. If metered by the taxi it will just be P170 (as of 6/1/12)

Buy chicken relleno from ORO HAM! The best pasalubong evah apart from Vjandep's Pastel buns.

    Kristine Gianna Roa · October 19, 2011

Taxi rates are fixed rates if ride from CDO bus terminal haggling 250php-350php. Since airport opens at 4:30, be sure to have your breakfast out since stores in the airport are still closed.

The terminal fee is only P30. Ten pesos less than the fee of Puerto Princesa Airport. When Laguindingan opens this January 2013, travellers should prepare for a much higher fee (probably P200).
