On the border between ocean and beach, no place is more extraordinary than Luna Park in Coney Island. This quirky and clean entertainment area features more than just sun, sand and the world-famous Cyclone Roller Coaster...
What a great day! Who needs the jersey shore when we got Coney Island?!
Great rides for kids. I thought this place was super old school and not that friendly, but I was wrong. perfect day outing with kids.
I would love to go because I found on ancestry.com a bunch of my ancestors visited when it first opened.
Funnel Cake ;)
Some of the rides the ticket prices has risen but still a nice place for everyone including Friday nights fireworks show
Great! Love it
Great carnival-themed park. Great for a family outing or a date.
We went on Sunday evening and they didn't sell the 4-hour-wristband anymore. Sad, sad, sad.
overpriced but unique
Hit up Nathan's AFTER the rides.
Super cute and reminiscent of our youth, as it slips away! lol
The Thunderbolt roller coaster is LEGIT! Great addition to Luna Park.
Now I want to ride the Cyclone every day of my life.
Alisa getting her ride on
Excellent place. Love it!
Back here again lol ...2 days in a row....lol my son loves it here
At MCU park for Brooklyn-Japan Baseball program. Beautiful friendship game for tsunami & hurricane Sandy kids!
We can't wait to ride the new Thunderbolt roller coaster that's coming next summer!
Good unique rides for the entire family and some of the traditional ones too.
Love this place!
Is a good day
It's still a work in progress, but it's great for family fun during the day, and I'm sure the night attracts a good time too.
Most of the rides are for little kids. This is no Six Flags. It's grungy, loud, dirty, but exciting! But head to a bigger amusement park unless you just want to say you've been here, for Nathan's!
You have to eat your how to dance at Nathan's but not at the boardwalk
The Groupon deal is totally worth it for the rides. But choose carefully between the food vs games option; each are equally poor in variety.
50 cent ski ball just outside the gate at the Eldorado Arcade
Well apparently they stop using wristbands at 6 so outs better to go in the morning out afternoon
Come for fireworks every Friday in the summer at 9:45,pm
Well you by a wristband for rides and ticket band for games for $40 but can't ride the go karts with wristband have to use 10 of your 20 tickets!! Ridiculous !! Shame on them!!
Great place for the Family!
It's great come one come all
The Cyclone rollercoaster ride is the BEST & SCARIEST ride of it all!
It is a great place for fireworks
Nice look on a friday nite
Fun place! Ride Soaring Eagle!
Bring a lot of money, almost every ride is $7 or more each, for each person. Everything is done on cards.
Years ago this place was semi-good. It's a total disaster now. Go here after sunset during a weekend and you will see for yourself. Nothing but puke all over the floor and rude people. Never again.
Wooooo ride the rides! Eat funnel cake!
This amusement venue takes its name and aesthetic from one of the "Nickel Empire" parks of yore—the old Luna Park, which operated from 1903 until it was destroyed by fire in 1944.
Awesome place to hang with the family.
Soaring eagle & steeple chase are the bomb
Phone booth? What's that?
Nice clean addition to Coney Island and a great way to pave a comeback for the former amusement resort. Not a huge amusement park, but just the right size for a cherished Brooklyn relic.
Luna Park takes its name from the original Luna Park, which operated at Coney Island from 1903 to 1946.
Critics' Pick winner of The Village Voice Best of NYC 2012 Best Amusement Park
Remember to check your seat before you leave a ride. I almost lost my cellphone.
