The Macombs Dam Bridge, opened in 1895, is a through-truss swing span, and n official City Landmark. It is a major route from Manhattan to the Bronx Bombers in Yankee Stadium.
Timing is everything. Don't get in here at the wrong time!
Raining, raining and RAINING!!
Save the traffic headache! Take the 4, B, D trains or Metro-North to Yankee Stadium!
Avoid this bridge if the yankees are playing
If you're running from the Yancey Track & Field to Hamilton Heights, make sure to cross the street before the bridge (so that you're on the north side) - to avoid a complex intersection in Manhattan.
