People tend to check in during these times:
Mad Dog & Beans Mexican Cantina is a casual-upscale Mexican restaurant with a warm and rustic, Mexican Revolutionary themed, dining atmosphere and full-bar.
Nice food. Order a side if you're very hungry. Portions are modest.
The chicken chimichanga is a gift from the God's
People tend to come to these places to drink margaritas and tequila shots, and tend to forget food (unless it is guac&chips) but go for the Tampiqueña steak, it is worth it, said the Mexican.
amazing guacamole! (sometimes you might to add a little salt though!)
Margaritas are spot on.
Great margaritas 🍸🍸
Really love the chilli here!
Best blue margaritas ❤️
The place downtown for margaritas and Mexican food with a rustic feel.
Guacamole is excellent. Burrito is enough for two ppl.
Good Mexican food is hard to find in the big apple. This place his the mark.
Amazing guacamole, plus the quesadillas are awesome
Amazing place on stone street! Good vibe and great margaritas!
The app portion chicken chimichanga was perfect for lunch. Fun grungy atmosphere, much needed to offset the financial district crowd. Will return!
The made-to-order guacamole is delicious
Good food, love the environment and outdoor area
Its a bit touristy, as it sits on Stone St. in the financial district. But the food is good, think upscale Chevy's. It's about the best quality americanized mexican you can get. no felíz compleaños
Great atmosphere and authentic Mexican food. Fresh and delicious dishes. A must try: The guacamole appetizer, shrimp fajitas and Pulled Pork Burrito. Great Tequilas.
Best guac in town!
A quesadilha de queijo é deliciosa! 😋
The mole sauce is wonderful but try not to splatter any on your sweater like I did.
The nachos were too good and the steak burrito was absolutely mouth watering.
Sit outside on Stone Street, NYC's cousin to San Francisco's Belden Lane. Big bonus points for being dog friendly (outside)
It's annoying to place a to go order here since it's so crowded.
Margaritas are superb here (can't speak for the frozen ones though), fresh lime juice and not too sweet.
This street reminds me Asmalimescit in Istanbul. I feel like i'm at home :)
Delicious Mexican food. Great lively environment
The chicken enchilada de pollo is excellent
Guacamole medium heat + Cucumber Margarita on the rocks = guaranteed satisfaction!
Best Margaritas in NYC
Terrible service, terrible food! However MARGARITAS delish and the guac I guess is tolerable. Sit at the bar (the bartenders are waaaayyyy nicer than the waitstaff)
I can't believe the managers here still have jobs. Well intentioned staff with absolutely no guidance or knowledge how to act in a restaurant. No one overseeing them. Never even a host available.
Hang out at this Mexican restaurant where the games are always on and guacamole stations are always ready for you.
The blood orange margaritas are amazing.
all you need is 1 margarita on the rocks...
I know why mad dog was so mad, he had to eat at this place
best guac everrrr
Winner of the Most Worthless Happy Hour in Manhattan!
Guac is some of the best I've ever had. Blood orange margarita is sour AND just sweet enough.
Get the guacamole. Every time.
The best frozen Margaritas
Limited seating options for solo diners are mostly at the bar and upstairs.
Guacamole, fish tacos, and corn are spot on
Didnt like the burrito: pure meat
wow! great food. locals after work meet up. loud crowd. must try the corn side, amazing.
Great guac, decent food. Met my gf here. BUT.. They charge for chips and salsa, an absolute joke of a policy in the Mexican restaurant world.
The guy who said guacamole isn't necessary obviously doesn't have a soul.
