Respect beer! Ditch the Heinies. Try a Bourbon Stout (Ola Dubh), anything Ninkasi for hoppy/bitter, Franziskaner Dunkel (dark wheat), or Chicago's famous Goose Island "Matilda," smooth, softly spiced.
The house pinot noir and chardonnay are the most disgusting on the face of the Earth. Avoid.

Mad Dog in the Fog carries every football game that is available and subscribes to all the satellite and Pay Per View providers.
Good place to watch the NFL on Sundays. Lots of screens, nice seats, and not crowded at all the two times I've come here.
The only bar that has a real back patio in Lower Haight and enough flat panel TVs to irradiate your unborn children. -Ryan B.
