Unlike most of America's gardens, which are formal and seek to control nature, Magnolia's Romantic-style Gardens cooperate with nature to create a tranquil landscape like Eden where humanity and nature are in harmony...
The map provided at the ticket counter isn't helpful. Just get lost and discover the gardens on your own. You never know what amazing views you'll find.
Watch out for the gators in the swamp garden.
I love the scenery! It's beautiful!!
They have wifi!
The Cabin Tours are a must do on your visit here - very educational; we opted for the boat tour rather than the Audubon Swamp Garden to get a quick, guided overview of the swampland
the zoo is really funny, and the train tour is fantastic!
Love the old gardens and the house
Make sure to bring big repellant!
Great pet friendly place to go for a walk.
Watch out for alligators!! Unexpected surprise on my ride.
Audubon Swamp-make sure to slowly wait to enter code in. If you mess up wait a minute.
Super cool! It's so amazing to see the plantation and the slave houses!!
Great trip through history. There's a basic fee to get in then there are separate fees for the house tour, cabin tour, tram ride, etc. We toured the house, gardens & zoo. It was fantastic.
Did the House Tour and the Cabins Tour. Really enjoyed both! They leave at set times, so bring snacks and games if you have small children.
Free admission for Vetean's Day on Sunday every year
Be sure to tour the Audubon Swamp Garden. It is amazing. Don't miss the African American cemetery.
Is it just me or does it seem like they're hiding the slave history of this place a bit...? If you don't want to pay extra for the slave hut tour you can see one yourself to the left of the snack shop
Beautiful. We went with Charleston Tours. Don't miss the Nature Train ride!
Beautiful place, definitely a fun time. The swamp is neat and the gardens are interesting.
An Amazing place!!!!
Get here early if you want to see the gators on the swamp tour.
Beautiful place to get married. I had a fantastic March wedding at the Carriage House.
Be sure to tour the entire Audubon Swamp Garden. We enjoyed it even more than the main grounds of the plantation. Amazing wildlife, great for photowalks!
