This is the most delicious breakfast I have had in a while. I ordered the scrambled eggs with pecorino and they were a dream. I love everything about this place.
Sit at the bar and have a cappuccino. The baristas know what they're doing and the barkeeps are super friendly.

They gave me the wrong menu. After 20 mins discovered that it was the wrong menu. The soup was microwave hot. Instead of using napkins they use hand cutted old menus under the bowl. Interesting place.

Pastas are as authentically Roman as you can get! Cacio, Carbonara, Chitarra, etc. and anything with the roasted suckling pig/fish is a gift from heaven. Beets are beautiful and save room for dessert!

Roman cuisine with fresh ingredients. Sit at the bar for a view of Gramercy Park out the window. One bartender during weekday lunch means slower service, but it's Italian. Take your time.
order the pastry basket, tonnarelli e cacio e pepe, ricotta pancakes and pistacchio ice cream for dessert. the pork hash was okay (very salty) and the contadino disappointing (not much flavor).
Breakfast, Lunch, or dinner..... You will not be disappointed. Food is served family style which makes sampling fun.
Exceptional Italian in a lively setting. Pasta and wine pairing was magnificent, albeit service very slow so be patient.
The cacio e pepe is bliss. Not to mention exceptional daiquiris.
My fav dish is the bucatini & the berry cocktail. Also, the bread they serve in the beginning is awesome. Perfect for family, friends or special occasions!

The bread they start you with (from Sullivan St Bakery) is amazing, but try not to fill up on it, because everything else is too.

Some of the best Italian food in the city. Get the tasting menu and ask for suggestions for wine.
Tomahawk Ribeye and the Baked Sea Bass with polenta were beautifully cooked. The Pappardelle with Ragu Short Rib was very tasty too. Great restaurant in the Gramercy Hotel.
The ricotta pancakes are a mound of golden fried deliciousness. A must try.
