Opened in 1971, this is the first park built at the Disney World resort. The park opened with 23 attractions. Only 3 were unique to the park, the rest were copies of Disneyland attractions.

The parades are great. Get a viewing spot early (at least 45 to 60 minutes before start) though. Respect the staff. Can't be easy managing that many people (including all the crazy ones) daily.

Walk through the shops for a great finish to the day. Fun Fact: The building levels are all built at various heights to give the illusion of tall buildings. Ex. 10 ft, 8 ft, 6 ft, 4 ft.

After fireworks, use the sidewalks for a faster exit. If using the monorail, while in line take the outside of the turns to avoid the pileup on the inside. Then cut across to the next outside turn.

Best seat in the house for the 3pm parade is at Guest Services near the front gate. Practically empty and perfect for photos. It's where the parade begins. But get there early just in case.
