This beach is small and tucked away so there was not many people when we visited in high season -- hence private and quiet. Love it!

Gorgeous white sand beach, surrounded by cliffs and big swells. Where the locals hang, very few tourists.

Mellow night dive in shallow water with a nice little reef offshore and to the left.

A bit of a locals beach. Weekdays it's fairly empty. If you come between 6-10 am you can find some great local surfing.

Makaha Beach Park is famous for monster swells in the winter, generally the water is safe for most. However, when the surf is large, the water here can be hazardous for novice swimmers and surfers.
