I'm assured by a friend that the Roti King is actually a separate business to the Malaysia Kopi Tiam—as a concession. The Roti is in a different league to the Malay and Thai food on offer.

Maybe the other reviews of this place was a bit dated, it's definitely rubbish now. Me and 2 mates tried 3 different dishes and it was mostly bad or tasteless. First & the last time ever.

Go for the roti... but not for the noodles or the service.

Although the food is good, service is terrible and staff are rude, bordering on confrontational. I would avoid at all costs.

One of our favourite Malaysian restaurants. Hainanese Chicken Rice, Nasi Goreng, Char Kuay Teow, Cantonese Ho Fan, Hakka Mee all great! Authentic Penang hawker grub, cheap too.

Proper authentic Malaysian food (trust me I know) Try the penang prawn noodles and nasi lemak. But do avoid the ice kacang.
