Had veal meatballs app. Good quality. Also try the whole bronzino roasted. So nice. Perfectly cooked.
Good, but like most steak houses,it's expensive.
dry aged burger
The pork shank is awesome and enough for two people.
Check out the nightly wine dinner (8:00pm-closing) at this old-school joint; only $79 per person for any appetizer, entree and dessert with unlimited wine pairings. Also, lasagna on Sundays. Order it.
Very good Wi-Fi, fast and with secure access.
Lasagna! But only on Sundays.
The prime rib steak is well prepared, but the crackling pork might be even better. Don't forget scallops for appetizers. Eat lots of meat and don't save room for dessert.
My favorite places for lunch when I am in the neighborhood.
Great meal here. Try the veal meatballs. Prime rib was excellent and cooked perfectly. Wait staff friendly as well. All around a good dining experience.
The food was amazing and cooked to perfection and portions are huge! .Well worth a visit for steak in NYC. I had the Prime Rib eye steak and my husband had the Pork Shank. Both were amazing.
Ribeye was okay, martini was mediocre, overall decent meal
Angry Lobster is half a 5lb lobster. Wow, very good, not too spicy.
Filet mignon and ice box cake. To die for
happy birthday hubby!!!
Best place to get a Salty Dog in midtown. Also have some of the better steakhouse salads that go beyond old school usuals.
If you're going to be in midtown you should stop for an exquisite Salty Dog cocktail delivered by a proper bartender.
Their steak is as superb as you’ve heard, but their impressive wine collection is what sets them apart. Go for the Weekend Wine Dinner to try an unlimited helping of great wine with tasty crab cakes.
Definitely try and get the Crackling Pork and the Prime Rib. The main courses do not come with sides however there was more than enough food with the main dishes. End with a Cherries Jubilee.
Skip it. This place is overrated.
Great space for meetings. Staff is excellent and the food is great!
Simplicity suits you - it's no wonder you knew to call a BULLDOG and tonic at the bar tonight.
Try Surf'n Turf! Delicious!!
Get the "Angry Shrimp Cobb Salad" for lunch. Wow.
Come for their $75 Weekend Wine Dinner – any appetizer, entrée, desert and unlimited wine. Get the Clams Casino, Filet Oscar and the Coconut Layer Cake. And your glass is never empty!
The best beef!!
I missed the picture but a wonderful lamb and a fresh and delicious lobster salad were served tonight! Viva!
Had to ask what the "Signature Balls" were on the side orders, but it was worth it! Amazing whipped potato balls in a panko crust with savory seasoning...delicious
Lots of unfriendly out of towners and obnoxious people but decent steak.
great filet mignon with cheese and vinte!
not on a diet? start with the crab cakes, move on to the lemon-garlic roasted lobster, then end the meal with the red velvet sundae.
For the vegan/vegetarian, no reason to stay away, concoct a crazy order or fear server scorn. They take care of you like they do it all the time.
Martini service was a little odd: They bring the shaker to the table and pour there, which means it's unecessarily being diluted. Also, olives with pits? Really?
Service is always good to very good, I went there 4 times last week and only once they added 15% upfront - i may have looked too much as a tourist
Lately i've noticed that it's a little bit less crowded then in teh past, not sure if it si just me
The pork si huge and a lot to work on but it's a good alternative
I had the lamb it's good and quite a good portion, red california wine to go with is perfect
I also had the Tuna Filer very good, the portion is not huge though
I had the Filet au Poivre small portion it's awesome
A combination of mixed shellfish platter and a green pepper filet mignon
Order the crackling pork... crispy pork skin and juicy meat still on the bone... fantastic!
Ottimo filetto cajun!
