Best breakfast selection in the city. Filling and a great value for money. Perfect for a morning layover. Can be coupled with a short visit to the Pere Lachaise cemetery.

Mama Shelter, a hotel in the 20th, is a bit of a distance from central Paris, but the atmosphere attracts an enthusiastic crowd. Live music is performed at Le Chic Chic bar on the weekends.

Along the former Petite ceinture railway, you’ll find the Mama Shelter hotel. Even if don’t choose their bed to crash out, come and sip one of their cocktails. Top choice: Spicy Mai Tai.

The place is nice, food is good despite an average menu, rooms are modern and stylish. IMac in the room is a good idea, but the TV through it is shit. Overall it's good but not worth the price.

As affordable as it is aesthetically inclined. Cereal especially loves the roof terrace and ground floor restaurant that serves up fantastic French regional cuisine.

Sorry Mama so-trendy-it-hurts Shelter, being chic is not enough. Poor service from waiters, a v dirty, stinky toilet at 6.30pm before dinner service even starts sure is one way to leave an impression.
