Thee Best Bad Ass New York Falafel and #1 in Popularity with New York's is in a Prime location in Greenwich Village. Get a Falafel then go next door to Caffe Reggio for a nice Greenwich Village treat.

Yummy Eqyptian Middle Eastern restaurant in the heart of the Village. They have delicious falafel, chicken shwarma, hummus. The line is usually out the door because the prices are reasonable as well..

Yada yada yada - if u don't know the falafel sandwich is the best in the city, where've u been for the past 15+ yrs? Don't sleep on the lentil soup. It'll change your life. Hot sauce all around...

Ok so you made a mistake and poured that hot sauce instead of dripping it? grab a bottle of Ayran (Turkish yoghurt drink) from Turkiss a little south on the same street. your mouth will thank you.

Mamoun's is legendary. One is able to overlook the decrepit, tiny interior because the authentic falafel and shawarma sandwiches are to die for. Perfect for lunch or dinner on the go.

Small, tasty and veggie-friendly - falafel is the best thing to come from a chickpea. New Yorkers have certainly taken to these fried fritters, but if you're looking for the best, look no further. Read more

For less than $5, you’ll get a pita-full of schwarma, deliciously creamy baba ghannouj, and falafel that’s cooked just right (crunchy on the outside, fluffy and moist on the inside).

Whether your looking for a quick snack or bombed from a late night of drinking & dancing stop by Mamouds. You'll feel like a million bucks within minutes. I go for the falafel shawarma mix.

I don't care how much better you think your local falafel guy is, this is the most famous falafel place in the city. Nothing comes close to the consistency of a delicious Mamoun's Falafel anywhere!

6 bucks for the falafel plate which is basically two sandwiches. So good. So cheap. Classic example of where even the meat eaters go veggie.

Falafel sandwich ($3.50) is pretty amazing considering the price. I mean, it's three freaking fifty for a falafel sandwich. You can't go wrong with it. Super quick service--gets packed!

Cheap, filling and fast. Also, it's not too unhealthy. I love the baba ganouj but others swear by the falafel. For $3.50 each, try both.

Great for a quick and dirty falafel sandwich. But if you're looking for something more than chopped lettuce and diced tomatoes in your sandwich, look elsewhere. Killer hot sauce tho.

Even if you don't care much for falafel (I don't), their shawarma is out of this world. Go when they are not crazy busy and the meat is deliciously charred on the edges.

You can do a full course meal here. Start with a side of babaganoush, then falafel or shawarma sandwich, a baklava and a cup of tea. 12 bucks on the outside.

I usually LOVE everything. But today I went and the pita with my falafel smelled and tasted like it was on the back of a truck. Cigarettes and dirty hands. So gross. Plus they upped the price. Boo.

One of the best falafel, hands down. Try out chicken kebab version as well. Don't be dissuaded by the long line - these guys have an exceptional turn around time.

I love mamoun's! Best beef shawarma around and the falafel is also excellent. Great place to come to late night after hitting up the bars in the area.

Get the shawarma sandwich for a quick fix, but the five minute wait is worth it for the chicken, even if your rapid ass cant wait five minutes, do it it's worth it.

The city's best falafel and chicken schwarma and the $2.50 price tag can't be beat. Use the hot sauce sparingly though, don't say we didn't warn you!

Forget the falafel, baba ghanoush is so much more flavorful, saucy, eggplant goodness. This sandwich is a hot mess, you can't eat it delicately at all.

Best falafel sandwich. Careful with the hot sauce. It comes out fast and furious and leaves you without any taste buds. Slowly drip it in.

Amazing falafel available late night for ultra-cheap. I've had better pita sandwiches but the falafel itself is unparalleled.
