A short walk from some of the nation’s most cherished monuments, Mandarin Oriental, Washington DC offers five-star luxury in the heart of the US capital. With legendary service and extensive facilities, our elegant hotel is the perfect urban retreat.
went there for parking and the place was closed. No notes or anything telling us what to do about parking when I had already prepaid online.
The service is good like all MO's, the rooms are quality and comfortable, the food is excellent and it has a great gym. Having said all that there is something missing, perhaps it's the poor location.
Great location and wonderful service.
For all the people with positive Feedback: have you ever been in Mandarin Oriental Bangkok??? So please go there and realize that you should be ashamed that you have no taste at all!
Food, rooms and service are great!
Ask for a room that faces the Washington Monument!!
Awesome hotel with great service, ask for a room with a view. Valet is expensive, uber if it you can.
18 dollars for a glass of wine? No thank you.
Wonderful service. Ask for higher level room if you want to avoid hearing the train on the city side.
The spa is one of the best in DC
A fan of this hotel, but not so much of the very informal afternoon tea buffet.
They have a lovely afternoon Tea on weekends
If you are here for an event and you need wifi, you'll have to walk across to the Starbucks.
If you're having room service, the Thai green curry is excellent.
Why would anyone stay anywhere else?

It’s got a prime location near the Mall; one of the District’s top restaurants, City Zen; and a Presidential Suite in eye-popping black-and-gold chinoiserie.
Came for lunch...drinks were good, food was decent, but service was SLOW!
Checking in @MO_WASHINGTONDC for drinks and lunch. Top pick: Glamorous - gin, grand marnier, galliano, rose syrup, and lemon. FANTASTIC!
A night away from Foggy Bottom for the most comfortable beds and bathtubs in DC. No reason not to make your next day a spa day
The pool feels so great after a long day of sight seeing, walking & standing in the museums.
Superb hotel and spa service. Love the Tai Pan lounge!. Great getaway hotel for Valentine's Day or just a romantic weekend. Fabulous service and location
Celebrating my girl's birthday luxuriously!
Amazing hotel. Best spa in the city. Great service. And Pong is truly an award winning bartender. Have him make you a "Canary."
The rooms are definitely on the small side. The service is extraordinary, but I don't think the property is otherwise anything special.
Service number 1!
Best hotel in DC! And the tai pan lounge had the BEST service! The $
Great service, great facilities, nice pool to do laps
Brunch at the restaurant is always a highlight. The Spa and fitness center are greT!
Beautiful Hotel...definitely worth the few extra bucks to stay there.
get the Bombay tandoori chicken salad from the little coffee bar off the lobby - Silk Road i think its called. amazing
Service in the lower end restaurant (Sou'wester) is always slow. Expect dinner to take at least 2 hrs. Food was decent, though.
The service here is superb!
Try the Eye of the Tiger cocktail, invented by Pong... The bartender at Empress Lounge!
