Hi guys :) Travel back to old Russia with Mari Vanna's elegant décor, traditional Russian food, and smiling staff. Try their infused vodka and herring with scallions. The combination is divine.
Make a reservation, and enjoy the Russian Table for two! The food is off the charts – order the Pelmeni, the Beef Stroganoff and Rabbit Stew. We’re coming for brunch soon!
I like the russian transplant - almost as good as the moscow (semi) original. Liked the pelmeni, the caviar, as well as the cocktails. Seems to be a bit of a pickup place, but did not really test it
The food is just so delicious and the service is exceptional. We had to wait a little extra for our food, but the waiter showered us with free drinks, even vodka shots, to apologize for the delay!
If you think you are going to drink like the Russians, start training long before you walk through these doors! Infused vodkas will make you swoon~cranberry, strawberry, cucumber & dill for starters..
The most adorable Russian restaurant ever - Russian newspapers as wallpaper, flower pots at the entrance, and wood backed dining room chairs. Feels like a life-sized dollhouse. Try the borscht!
Great place to go to for some delicious Russian food and fun atmosphere! Fried potatoes with mushrooms tasted just like my Mum's! Need to plan my next visit there again soon.
Come here for the ambiance, the food less so. It's a really fun ambiance (live music), with kitschy decor. Potato salad and herring are misses; the borscht, tasty.
The food is great, especially borsh is just fantastic, music is loud, so it s good for big companies. The stuff sings birthdays songs like for their own friends :)
The borscht is simply perfection here and can serve as a light meal by itself. Also, the infused vodkas are as good as everyone says, cherry being my personal favorite.

Don't go if you are Russian :) Do have their vareniki, very tasty. For brunch come starved as it's buffet - very filling, many options, great blini!
Girly ambience with floral china, lace tablecloths, and even a pedestal for your purse! Great cocktails pureed with fresh fruit (literally watermelon chunks floating in a melon martini!). —Meg
Great Olivier, pelmeni, blini, etc. Get the Strawberry Smetannik and Grand Tea Pot for dessert. Also: cucumber & dill infused vodka.
Being Russian myself, I discovered this traditional wonderful desert "smetannik" at Mari Vanna. The service was surprisingly friendly and correctly relaxed.
Loved this one just as much as the one in Moscow. Delicious food, definitely come here if you have time to spare, service can be slow.
One of the rare places in NY that serves Beluga vodka. Combine it with pelmeni (Russian dumplings) and life is wonderful!
Amazing Russian food buffet for brunch. Cocktails are $17 but if you like mimosas you're good because they are unlimited.

Very cute kitschy decor, delicious housemade vodkas (try cucumber martini). Cured herring & veal pelmeni were great!
The vegan Lenten menu is truly amazing & progressive with lots of scrumptious healthy options! Try the cabbage & apple salad!
Infused home vodka, shuba and caviar. They play live music in the evening and the atmosphere is amazing!
A tip from a Russian person: No matter what you get here, order it with a side of fried potatoes and olivier salad.
You must try the horseradish vodka and the blinis with condensed milk and jam. Maybe on two different occasions..,
If you split the caviar and salmon blinis, pelmeni, and borscht between 2 people, you'll be golden.
Really nice place..especially on Monday night. Food, drinks, people and atmosphere - evrth is pretty good!!
Adorable homey decor. Good wine. Be sure to get the smoked fish and chicken kotletki - amazing.
Sunday brunch here is not to be missed on your next NYC trip. Adorable. So Tasty. Unlimited mimosas.
Brunch on Sundays is kind of amazing. Can't go wrong with pelmeni, shuba and unlimited mimosas .
The place is amazing and the food delicious you have to try the potato balls
It's too too too overpriced. Don't try to compare with real Russian, Ukranian or Georgian food, in marivanna its just a pale copy.
To those unfamiliar with Russian cuisine, strongly recommend national soup "Borscht" and cake "Napoleon".
If you wanna real Russian cuisine, go to Brighton. This one is too pricy and too fancy. Place is nice though.
Place is bomb. Feather light blinis, awesome infused vodkas, terrific service...worth every penny!
Some of the best bartenders in the city, great atmosphere, and tons of live advice to go around.
Come often and figure out how to get a key to the place, the highest honor! Great infusions too
The best Russian food in the city for a while now. Try pelmeni, mushroom soup, Salo plate
My birthday pre-dinner. Absolutely loved it. Worth the hefty price tag.
Ask for the key restaurant to get to the special russian party on Monday nights !!!
There is water bottles standing peacefully on each table. You open onr. Then BOWWW, it ****ing costs 12$!
Great Russian food! Love the atmosphere, it's nice to bring your non-Russian friends here
Lovely, romantic and girly. Perfect for a lunch with girlfriends. $24 Pre-Fix lunch
Horseradish infused vodka, killer martinis and "Barbie Girl" blasting from the stereo in a quaint Russian cottage. Love it.
Make your way through 20 vodka infusions, snacking on all manner of caviar and blintzes.
The borscht was heavenly and reminded me of Belarus. Definitely a must!
Love this place it's great coming from someone who was raised on Russian food!
The best Russian place in New York!!) AN AWESOME ATMOSPHERE! DELICIOUS FOOD!!!! Beautiful team:)
