Built across the mouth of the Marina Channel, the Marina Barrage creates Singapore’s 15th reservoir, and the first in the heart of the city. With a catchment area of 10,000 hectares, or one-sixth the size of Singapore, the Marina catchment is the island’s largest and most urbanised catchment.

    Not many places in SG where you can see the entire city skyline, but this is one of them. Great spot to chill at night, or do a little stargazing on the grass patch when the sky is clearer.

    If you go Marina Barrage, you must try the resturant name 77th storey. Is a MUST! It has the best steamboat in Singapore! However, it's a bit expensive but worth it! Seafood steamboat! $80+ for 2 pax.

    When you're at the Barrage, you have to get a big kite and fly it up in the air! Guarantee can fly! Get 2 rolls of strong kite string so that your kite can rule the sky! Best to fly at the roof! =) Read more
