Big refurbishment happening. If room weren't 450 a night it wouldn't matter so much...

The hotel is designed to make you feel like in a boat and it's pretty successful. However the style of the room still feels a bit old as I would have expected something a bit more trendy.

Came here for a Halloween event and the guy that looks like Danny Devito was a racist mfcker. Explicitly pointed to our group of Asians and said we weren't getting in but let in other people.

Want to play pool? It's free. Buy a drink and have fun.

Whether or not the in-crowd has taken their party elsewhere, we think The Maritime is still pretty slick. The rooms are pleasingly plush, and the onsite dining and nightlife are stellar. Read more · April 19, 2012

Sit in front of the fire. Contemplate the sea blue tiling and warm wood book shelf plank. You're on a boat. Enjoy it.

The business center is on the 5th floor. The please looks like a laundry room and like it should house an ice maker but there is actually a full computer, printer, & fax set up.

In NYC for a spell? Grab a room at the Maritime Hotel. The subdued nautical motif, down to the round port windows, is perfect when you're on a journey.
