The cardamom-studded Marla bun is just one among many delightful pastries and bagels that Marla Bakery offers in both the Outer Richmond and the Ferry Building. Read more

Delicious breakfast/brunch fare and superb breads to go. Their pain au levain is particularly scrumptious.

Expensive beyond comprehension. Quality is great with most items (brown butter cake, gateau basque tart, bagels are amazing). Their bread is just ok, lunch entrees are passable but not worth the $$

Try and get a seat out on the back patio. Really a nice little spot.

Highlights here include a remarkable baked egg dish, an English muffin, and sweet options like a ricotta pancake and challah French toast that seem designed to put you into a postprandial coma. Read more

I really dislike wrecking ball coffee, and I received poor service and subpar baked goods. Cute cafe, but I'll never go out to outer Richmond again for this place.

Cozy and not super crowded, seems like a great place to do work. Marla bun is similar to a palmier but a bit dry.

Delicious pastries & coffee. Great back patio too. Reasonably priced and it's so wonderful to finally have a good coffee shop that's open fairly early in the outer Richmond.

RSVP to Sunday Supper! It's truly a kick-ass communal dining experience (you also get to meet the owners and tour the restaurant). Nick from Wrecking Ball may make you some surprise coffee!

Good coffee, barista pours coffee or finishes latte art by your table. Apricot custard pie is delicious! Nice indoor space and patio seating in the back.

$4 for a croissant seems a little steep. But it's a cute addition to the neighborhood with quality baked goods.
